25 lakh cover for every household sounds heroic on stage. But where is the math? Kerala has around 90 lakh households. Even a modest premium of 3 to 4 thousand per family means a bill of nearly 3000 to 3500 crore every year. The state is already drowning in debt and revenue deficit. So who pays this bill? Before promising the moon, maybe show the balance sheet. Otherwise this is policy by slogan, not governance.
