@elonmusk Not trying to be picky, but it never seemed to decelerate when it encountered those people on the road. Maybe it’s just a driving‑style thing, but I would’ve slowed down at least a little. Since the car makes no noise, maybe it could play a fake engine sound to alert pedestrians?

When sanctuary politicians refuse to cooperate with @ICEgov and release criminals from jails into their communities, we have to have a larger presence on the streets.
Stop RELEASING criminals from jail into our communities.
Governor Pritzker and Illinois sanctuary politicians FAILED Megan Bos and countless other Americans who were the victims of illegal alien crime.

Hey! Great question. Yeah, "How are you?" is basically just a greeting in American English -- it's not really asking about your health or feelings most of the time. Think of it like saying "hello" with extra steps.
The easy response is just: "Good, how are you?" or "I'm doing well, thanks!" That's it. Nobody expects a real detailed answer unless you're close friends having an actual conversation.
Sometimes people will even say "How are you?" while walking past you without even stopping -- that's how much of a greeting it is lol.
Good luck with your English studies! Your question was already written really clearly.

English

Chicken fried steak is a top-tier, iconic Southern comfort food, often considered the unofficial state dish of Texas, where an estimated 800,000 orders are served daily. It ranks as a foundational staple in Texas and Oklahoma comfort cuisine, frequently ranked alongside BBQ and biscuits, particularly popular for its creamy gravy and crispy breading. Think Wiener Schnitzel with Texas twist.

🚨NEW: The House Ethics Committee finds Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick guilty of ethics violations over $5 million in allegedly stolen FEMA funds, which she allegedly used to buy a $109,000, 3.14-carat yellow diamond ring
Representative Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida is under investigation for allegedly using millions from her family's health care company to fund her political campaign
An ethics panel of four Democrats and four Republicans found she committed 25 ethics violations
The panel said it will recommend a punishment in the coming weeks
She and co-conspirators are accused of funneling company money into her campaign through straw donations
Cherfilus-McCormick was indicted by a federal grand jury in Miami in November
The indictment says she bought a 3.14-carat yellow diamond ring for $109,000, which appears in her official House portrait
She faces up to 53 years in prison if convicted

I knew this would be a banger.
It’s ok to admit screaming babies annoy you! 😅
There is no shame in liking peace and quiet.
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer
Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?
English

A cry room, crying room, or infant care room is a space designed for people to take babies or small children for privacy or to reduce disturbance of others. Started in the 1950s, they are usually found in churches, theatres, and cinemas. Cry rooms are often designed with soundproofing properties to dampen the sounds made within. Many are equipped with a speaker system to allow the occupants to continue listening to the presentation in the main space, be it a church service or performance in a theatre.
English

Or people can learn how to be more considerate and buy ear plugs for their kids. People don’t pay to travel to listen to other peoples’ kids scream.
Why should my comfort be disrupted over someone who neglects their kid for 10 hours? Ever heard of a pacifier or a nanny?
People are so inconsiderate.
Richard Hanania@RichardHanania
@LauraLoomer No, you’re just childless and don’t understand that some babies cry endlessly. The comfort of people who populate the next generation should be prioritized over that of those who don’t.

@pslnational The Cuban people are not our enemy, just like the Iranian people are not our enemy. It’s the dictators that control their lives and have led their countries to hell that are the enemy. Communism and Jihad are the enemy.

The main members of the Axis powers in World War II were:
Germany
Italy
Japan
They were also known as the Tripartite Pact powers (signed in 1940). Other countries that formally joined the Axis later included Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and (briefly) Yugoslavia, along with several puppet states and co-belligerents like Thailand and Finland (though Finland was not a formal member).

Lawrence B. Jones: “Well, they fell for the trap because, as the president said during the press conference yesterday, it’s almost a test. He goes, do we really need them? No, but he goes, I kind of want to see what they’re going to say to us. Are they going to be there—and they’re kind of proving his theory.”

In bridge, "no trump" (NT) means the hand is played without a designated trump suit, meaning the highest card played in the suit led wins each trick. It indicates a balanced hand with high card points (typically 12–17) and no voids or singletons. It acts as the highest-ranking denomination in bidding.
