I’ve been writing about anti white racism for well over a decade, far before it was popular. I like white people too much to imagine us as helpless victims. Challenging anti-white discrimination doesn’t require that framing

@ChristianHeiens Because the real religion of most westerners, especially boomers, Gen X and Millennials, is "anti-hitler". Anything that makes you closer to a "hitler position", such as "protecting your own people", makes you evil. So you can't notice these things, because then you're hitler.

Why is it that Progressives seem to reserve all of their enmity for those who point out that certain ways of life are blatantly incompatible with Western civilization, as opposed to actual barbaric behavior that is incompatible with Western civilization? The liberal will look at this, totally melt down, and start rambling about fascism or racism. To them, the existential enemy is "the Right" or "White men" and not a foreign culture or belief system that is completely antithetical to what we consider to be normal human behavior. It's like they're literally incapable of understanding that not everyone in the world thinks the same way they do. They have to believe their own worldview is the pure application of morality as expressed in the form of politics, rather than an expression of a unique and particular civilization. But Progressivism doesn't see the world as a conflict between civilizations, even though it absolutely is. What it sees is a conflict between inclusion and exclusion... even if that viewpoint IS itself a manifestation of a civilizational outlook. And if that's the frame of reference you take, then the person who names something as being civilizationally incompatible will always appear more threatening than the barbarians at the gates (or inside them).

His son groomed and raped a 13 year old child in Rotherham, UK. He says he doesn't see it as rape because "she wasn't a virgin or new to sex". These are dangerous people.

@Der_Kernel_ games are too hard to make now, they cost too much and so every big game has to be a massive smash hit. it makes it difficult for them to be as weird and challenging as they were in 2004

The more I look at my childhood favorite games, and look at where the companies are now, I’ve realized that triple A games have never been good. A lot of our old favorites like Halo, Oblivion, Fallout New Vegas, Assassin’s Creed 2, Spyro, Sims, and so many others were developed by teams of 20 bros making some shit they’d want to play. It wasn’t until these companies went corporate, shareholders, bureaucratization, teams of over 300 that they started to fumble, lose sight of the vision. It feels like almost monthly we see some of the talented minds of our “golden age” leaving these corporations to peruse their own independent projects. 20 years, dedicated to something you created, and walking away. Then of course it always comes out later that there was some colossal miss management, miss treatment, broken promises and threats that inevitably become the tipping point for these minds. The minds that built the worlds we loved. The minds that built the foundations these companies stand on. I think gaming has always been at its best when it’s a small team of like minded individuals, building a game that they all would enjoy. Not as some unrepeatable art project or means to a quarterly revenue, but as something that’s just fun.

I apologize, but I'm going to dip into some dating discourse. I never talk about "the apps," but after years of seeing men complain about how easy it is for women to get "matches," and women complain about how hard it is to find a man who will commit, I think they're both describing the same problem from opposite ends. I've been thinking about this for months. men who are chronically single and women who never are—what do they have in common? I think the crux is: scarcity mindset leads to scarcely compatible pairings. to speak for myself, I've found it hard to stay single, and frequently dated men who'd never been in a relationship before. I didn't intentionally seek out inexperienced men, but over and over again I found myself in the role of "first girlfriend." hmmm! everyone in this pool of desperation has such low self-esteem that they will settle for almost anything. the chronically single man's self-worth has been eroded by years of rejection or feeling invisible. the never single woman's self-worth is defined by being chosen, doesn't matter by whom. the pairings look complementary from the inside: - his inexperience feels like a blank slate to her—she will be the patient one, the one who can teach him to love her the way she's always wanted, without comparison. - her willingness to date him feels like a lifeboat to him—he doesn't ask himself whether he wants her back, he just feels relieved. both are misreading desperation as devotion, not entering the relationship from a place of choice. the never-single woman thinks this time it'll be different. her experience is an asset, she's done so much inner work, now she has the tools to make this relationship succeed. but experience picking at the same wound is not the same thing as growth. the always-single man thinks this might be his only chance so he has to take it. he is overwhelmed by the relationship—the intimacy, the expectations, everything—and he always wonders if it's actually right. he has little if nothing to compare it to. so he stays, but never fully commits. this is how you get those long, drawn-out "dating" relationships where the woman is asking for commitment and progress and the man "isn't sure." they're together out of mutual scarcity and fear—she's terrified of sunk cost, he's terrified of being trapped. she stays because leaving means admitting she wasted years, again. he stays because he doesn't believe anything better exists for him. neither stays because the relationship is actually good. and in modern dating, it's normal to live together for years before you're "sure." it's normal because many people have entered lukewarm relationships and are scared to leave because they don't want to be alone. we hear countless stories of 27-35-year-olds in ambivalent 4+ year relationships. then we apply theories like "insecure attachment" to the people in those relationships, never considering that those relationships may actually be legitimately insecure. two sides of the same coin. scarcity mindset on both sides.

@shinboson Straight men think women are beautiful so they put a female face unto divine concepts It really its that simple. There is nothing “instinctive” about it, no deeper truth about the ineffable nature of women etc Use your brains and abandon mysticism
