Please bookmark this IEA graphic. Grid batteries - even moreso than EV batteries - are ALREADY mostly LFP-technology, so nickel-free and cobalt-free. Plus, the emergence of sodium-ion (already beginning to scale up manufacturing) is cheaper than LFP and with a lower CO2 footprint, is - critically - doesn't even contain lithium.
