@denalimarsh @bradmillscan I did this too. Big difference. Every cool thing I see on Twitter that open claw adds, I just message my bot and say review this and determine if we should add this to our version. If we both agree, my bot builds a version that works with our code.

@bradmillscan Just rebuild openclaw from scratch. Took me under a day. Any issue you run into, just take openclaw's upstream solution and tailor it to your needs. Every setting you don't know about is going to slow you down - rebuild from the foundation. My custom build is way more effective!

Found it.
When you set up OpenClaw with topics/channels there's a hidden default setting that resets sessions after 2 hours ... making your agent forgetful & way less feel useful than your main DM session.
If you are experiencing this, ask your agent what the channel idle settings are.

I changed mine to 4 days instead of 2 hours.

I split my OpenClaw into 5 focused threads w/ the appropriate model pinned to each thread. Crons routed to each channel based on topic. Nightmare. Now I have 5 different convos where my bot constantly lies, regresses, and one Opus orchestrator who throws Codex under the bus.

Almost a decade ago I was the Harvard economist that said that bitcoin was more likely to be worth $100 than 100k. What did I miss? I was far too optimistic about the US coming to its senses about sensible cryptocurrency regulation; why would policymakers want to facilitate tax evasion and illegal activities? Second, I did not appreciate how Bitcoin would compete with fiat currencies to serve as the transactions medium of choice in the twenty-trillion dollar global underground economy. This demand puts a floor on its price, as I discuss at length in my new book Our Dollar, Your Problem.
