Today is Yom Kippur - the holiest day in the Jewish religious calendar. This would be akin to attacking church goers on Easter Sunday. My thoughts are with everyone impacted by this wicked act and my gratitude is with the emergency services for going into harm's way to help the victims.

Surreal to observe so many ‘anti-war’ people express more outrage at nuclear facilities being taken out than they did at the indiscriminate massacre of civilians on October 7th.

Today, we Iranians are faced with something truly unbelievable: Western, liberal, “woke” feminists, clueless about the brutal reality in our country, consistently stand with our oppressors under the delusion of saviorism. They have no understanding of the decades of humiliation, violence, and systemic oppression we’ve endured under the Islamic Republic. Driven by their own need to feel morally superior, they claim to fight for justice while turning a blind eye to the suffering of millions. And let’s be honest, they are some of the most racist voices out there. They look at Iranians and other “brown people” as too backward, too uncivilized, too dumb to deserve real freedom or democracy. In their eyes, we’re wild animals, only manageable under tyranny. But here’s the truth: we are the ones fighting for real freedom, the same freedom they weaponize to silence us. And we want absolutely nothing to do with their hypocrisy.

On Passover, we recount the story of the Israelites' liberation from slavery. Freedom is something to celebrate & yearn for. This year, we pray for the freedom of the 59 hostages still in captivity. We pray they can join us “next year in Jerusalem” and we cry out: #LetMyPeopleGo!

I recently appeared on Channel 12, the first time a Palestinian has been on Israeli primetime TV. The program reached 1.2m viewers. My message was simple: 1) For the good of the Palestinian people, Hamas must give up the keys to Gaza and all its weapons. It must submit to a new Palestinian-Arab governmental body. We must speak with one voice against Hamas: that they must pay for October 7 by departing Palestinian political life altogether. Once that happens, the Israeli army should leave Gaza and not return. 2) The world is open to investing billions in reconstructing Gaza, but without political reconstruction, those billions will be wasted. The international community want to know that this is the last time they will throw so much money away, that this will be the last war. 3) We Palestinians must see this conflict through Israeli eyes, appreciating their security needs. And Israelis must see this conflict through our eyes, appreciating our need for dignity and freedom. And then we must satisfy each other’s needs.

Can’t get over how 251 people were ACTUALLY kidnapped and many continue to be held in tunnels (dead and alive) while so many of you say nothing…and now you weaponize the word “kidnapped” to describe a man currently held in custody by the US for his actions in support of the kidnappers. Gross as hell.
