When I was traveling to Tokyo some years ago, my host cancelled my booking 3 hours before I was to board my flight - was scheduled to reach late night. So I booked another Airbnb and the host again canceled as I was boarding my flight. No help from Airbnb, haven’t used them since

Hotels > @Airbnb, a horror story 🫠 It’s 2:30am in London. Flight delayed 3 hours. Raining. I message our host that we’re going to miss the check in window. There’s a fee. Weird since it’s self check in, but ok We get to the airbnb and the lockbox doesn’t work. Rain, rain..

Me when someone touches my fries. Pictured here is a Eurasian marsh harrier. #DidYouKnow : The Marsh Harrier is identifiable by its long tail and light flight with wings forming a shallow 'V', and is the largest among harriers.

Two visitors from India — a lander named Vikram & a rover named Pragyan — landed in the southern polar region of the moon on Wednesday. Making India the 1st country to ever reach this part of the moon — and only the 4th country ever to land on the moon. nytimes.com/live/2023/08/2…

On The Shortness of Life vs Life Is Long “It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it. Life is long enough, and a sufficiently generous amount has been given to us for the highest achievements if it were all well invested.”

The Seen and the Unseen The range of what we see and do Is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice That we fail to notice, There is little we can do To change Until we notice How failing to notice Shapes our thoughts and deeds. - R.D. Laing
