NEW: Evidence has been uncovered that Donald Trump enriched himself at the expense of taxpayers. While Trump was president, he stole $1.7 billion dollars in revenue and directed the funds to flow through his businesses. Further, Trump did everything possible to ensure the majority of the stolen money came from American taxpayers.
Additionally, “Stop the Steal” profiteering raked in more than $500,000,000 for Trump, less than $9,000,000 of which has been spent on lawyers. Trump is spending the remainder of the funds on himself.

I want to emphasize this: Florida was more prepared for hurricanes fifteen years ago with much better regulation and land use ordinances than today. Developers have left us much more vulnerable by building in places they shouldn't have, aided and abetted by Republican governors.

Florida politicians have failed us while dismantling regulation and pandering to developers. This has made all of us less safe. You simply CANNOT build in parts of Florida without severe repercussions, but the legislature and developers have done so anyway.
