I had hacked CBSE's OSM (On-Screen Marking Portal) in February and had reported the vulnerabilities to CERT-In, but they were unable to patch most of them. I've written a detailed blog post about it here: ni5arga.com/blog/posts/hac…

Stop throwing a fit. Delhi Gymkhana is a private club. No one’s taking away your membership of it. Just that, leave aside valid security concerns, taxpayers are no longer willing to subsidise to the tune of thousands of crores, your stale cutlets and evening swims. My views:

🚨 This Anti-Temple Bill MUST BE WITHDRAWN Immediately! The Maharashtra Devasthan Inam Nirmulan Draft Act 2026 is an open attack on Hindu Temples. Lands that were granted by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Peshwas and our kings for the service of Deities, for puja, annadana, festivals and temple upkeep, are being snatched away and distributed to tenants, occupants and encroachers. Temple property belongs to the Deity, not the government. It is inalienable. This bill will make thousands of temples landless and bankrupt while conveniently exempting Waqf properties. This is not reform, this is selective discrimination against Hindu Institutions. We strongly demand: WITHDRAW THIS BILL NOW! Do not tamper with Hindu temples and their lands. Jai Bhavani! Jai Shivaji! Protect Sanatan Dharma. Protect Temple Lands. #Bill_Against_Temple_Land

These are the people who never donate a penny in a temple or never get any anushthan done from pandit, calling it dhakosla But they are the first to ask welfare from temple money Why? Hindus donate money to temple for deity and temple management, not for your mulla welfare scheme
Manoranjan Sethy@msethy5

@SachdevaAmita @pvsubramanyam The Temple Money has never been used to ease the pain of devotees Never Ever Except Priests stole it Management committee stole it & Government used for public expenses This is the reason why Hindus are weak A nobody like me can understand this but YOU r not

That’s the customer service expected for every consumer product. But we have Ola and Samsung here and many others, including airlines.

This is an appreciation post for @rodemics! I had bought their Wireless GO II mic five years ago. Over the years, it stopped holding charge for more than 3 hours. I checked their website and found that it has a 5-yr warranty. But I had never registered the product. Anyway, I registered the product that I had bought from a website not present in their drop down list. They asked for an invoice, serial number. My concern was registered. Next, someone from Australia asked their India counterpart to fix it. I sent the device to service centre, they took a week and concluded that it cannot be fixed. So, they offered me a gen III Wireless GO. You would ask, this was under warranty, they ought to fix. However, I know several companies outrightly reject it because it was not bought from recognised stores. They could have done so as well. So, thank you Rode Mics. I own your Wireless Go, Wireless GO III (now), Wireless Pro, Rodecaster Pro II along with some other accessories. You have been a reliable companion for my YT/X videos. I have blind faith on your hardware and software. Makes my life easy. It would have cost me 30,000 to buy a new one, but you replaced it even when you could have refused. That’s the customer service we pay for.

Membership criteria for this old babus club. Professional Quotas: The club traditionally uses a quota system, reserving slots primarily for Civil Servants (IAS/IFS), Defense Officers, and a smaller percentage for general civilians and corporate figures. Sponsorship: You typically need to be proposed and seconded by current, long-standing permanent members of the club. The "At Home" Interview: Applicants and their sponsors are generally required to attend an "At Home" session, where club officials and existing members informally assess if you fit the club's social and cultural standing. All this because these guys passed one exam and gained permanent supremacy as our overlords.

Apropos Union Gov’s decision to destroy #DelhiGymkhanaClub my views: 1. I joined it in 1978/79 (applied in 1974). My father wasn’t a member. 2. Only all-India services & military officers got membership routinely. 3. The club, besides its other services, was famous for its tennis & squash facilities. Famous writer/journalist Khushwant Singh played tennis there till his 90s 4. The elected committees may’ve performed poorly, making gov nominate members. 5. As my old friend @thekiranbedi has opined Del Gym Club is a repository of sporting, services & cultural memories. Destroying it is untenable.

@shantanugoel Samsung service is very poor. You lodge a complaint to CC and they’ll share your details with unauthorised vendors Those unauth vendors will come & do shoddy service and will provide fake invoice. When issue will persist and you’ll call CC, and they’ll share will deny any service

"India is overcrowded" is the most successful gaslighting campaign Indian babus ever ran on their own citizens. They underbuilt the country for forty years and convinced 1.4B Indians to blame themselves for it. Every overcrowded space you've ever queued in is a supply failure the state engineered, not a demographic accident. Five lifts in a hospital, one working. Seven railway counters, one ticketer. Toll plazas, water boards, municipal offices: built once in 1972, patched once in 1996, abandoned ever since. The only exception is airports, and even those lounges are gigafried at peak. Why did this happen? 4 reasons, none of them are "too many people." 1. Cost of capital. Rupee down 60% against the dollar in two decades. Inflation 5-7% on paper, 8-10% in reality. Risk-free rates above 7%. No rational allocator underwrites a hospital with a 30-year payback under those conditions. Capital flows into software and consumer brands; anything with a 3-5 year ROI window. Parks, ports, metros, dams, schools need multi-decade underwriting that India's macro structurally cannot support. 2. The regulatory stack is engineered to prevent construction. 50+ clearances across municipal, state, and central bodies for any large project, each with its IAS gatekeeper extracting rent. Real builders give up. The only construction happening at scale is therefore illegal, which is exactly why slums mushroom while sanctioned housing projects sit at 15% completion for a decade. 3. The corruption tax. Budget 15-20% of project cost in bakshish before pouring a single slab. Stacked on top of GST, stamp duty, capital gains, property tax, labour cess. Software shops escape it; they ship from a laptop. Anyone touching cement, steel, or land pays the surcharge in cash, off the books, with zero recourse and zero deductibility. 4. State capacity has collapsed into pure friction. GST portal crashes on filing deadlines. MCA21 is a relic. Every regulator (SEBI, RBI, IRDAI, FSSAI, BIS) optimises for CYA, never throughput. Babus paid 1990s salaries to administer 2026 complexity respond rationally by doing nothing. India's perpetual undercapacity is a capital allocation story the political class would rather you never learn. The 1.4B is a feature. The people running the country are the bug. Until cost of capital drops, the regulatory fat gets gutted, and the corruption surcharge gets squeezed out, the lifts and the counters and the hospitals will stay exactly as broken as they were when your grandfather first complained about them in 1987.

Every single place in India is just so overcrowded. - Want to go to a park? Hundreds are already there, not enough space. - Want to go to a temple? You won’t even get five minutes of peace. - Want to visit a hill station? Not a single hotel is available. - Same with Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and everywhere else. It feels like the calmest place is your own house.

are you sure @SecRubio you have not fallen for propaganda? i volunteered only for 1 day at her home in Kolkata, because it didn't feel right for an untrained foreigner to be around the dying. But a German nurse friend stayed for 6 months and told me several stories, which are NOT living examples of the Catholic faith. like forcefully taking away a sick woman, surrounded by her protesting family living on the pavement, and loading her into the van. In the home, her head was shaven. Next morning she was dead.
