Hi, we understand your concern. However, please note that seat charges apply to preferred seat selection. Customers may select a free seat during web check-in by choosing “Auto Seat Assignment,” and a seat will be assigned based on availability. Please note that if free seats are unavailable, customers may opt for Auto-Assign Check-In, where a complimentary random seat will be assigned and the boarding pass will be generated 3 hours prior to departure. ~Twinkle

Splitting families apart. @IndiGo6E deliberately not letting you choose seats together. A family of 6 has to split and can’t seat together. Example of horrible user experience. It was supposed to be upselling, but I ended up not buying seats. Cc: @airsewa_MoCA
