I heard some Islamic countries are criticizing Japan. So let me ask one simple question. If I went to your country and started demanding: “Serve pork in school lunches.” “Let us drink alcohol freely.” “Build crematoriums for Japanese people.” Wouldn’t that make you angry? Of course it would. Every country has its own culture. Its own religion. Its own rules and way of life. Japan is no different. So why do some people demand things in Japan that they would never accept in their own country? I don’t go to Islamic countries, because I know their culture doesn’t fit me. And that’s exactly why I believe people should respect the country they choose to live in.
