@maddogkiller66 @NiftyN00b @MarathonDevTeam if you slide at all during a fight you're begging to be murdered. it generates more heat, you can't stop the slide, you can't shoot during it, you can't melee during it etc. it just feels terrible

I hate that Destroyer is better than Vandal in everyway for combat movement, The class is basically useless for combat effectiveness comparatively. @MarathonDevTeam please rework Vandal it's insane that we can't shoot while sliding but you have Destroyer able to slide and dash while shooting. Make it balanced or make it make sense. #marathon

Last night we killed a team on Cryo because a streamer had prox chat open and didn’t realise. “Clip that chat this could be a world first” was pretty much all we could hear in Preservation. After we snagged the kill I jumped into his stream and said “hey we were the guys who killed you as a friendly heads up you had prox chat open and probably didn’t realise” Immediately got banned and accused of stream sniping so that’s fun 😂

@Ziegler_Dev I am going to be honest with you. Seeing how cryo has been going, It is hard for me to want to do it as for it seems like it will be impossible for me to gear and get ready to run this with only 3 months per wipe session. Grats to the 1-2% of people who will do all of this..

We’ve been watching and ingesting all the thoughts and feedback that we’re hearing, aggregating it and taking it down in notes. After this weekend we’ll spend some time looking into feedback and thinking of the next iterations we want to make: Main topics we’ve noted so far: - Scheduling : options for players who can’t play on weekends - Solos : is there any way to play this map without joining a crew? - Subroutines: can subroutines be more guaranteed as a drop from vaults? Any of these may take some time to figure out so I can’t guarantee quick solutions here but we’ll definitely discuss these topics as a team this week. Not a crazy haul but actually extracted out of the new cryo archive map. Really enjoying this game.

@kujo_777 d2 was killed by stale repetitive content, followed by a lack of new content… tired of casuals revisionism acting like not turning on baby mode(the funny thing is they literally did, d2 has only progressively gotten easier) is what killed the game

My legit ONE complaint about CA so far is that I know that I will NEVER fight a compiler purely because how the game is made & tbh that kinda sucks, I wish fighting Compilers where a little more all player friendly because to me rn, I’m never seeing one in game.

@OrbFromOnline @CoolRunnersClub i just dont understand this narrative, you can easily hit lvl 25 within 30 hours of play, which id say is fair to ask for the games pinnacle endgame content. the map is difficult, sure, but its not insanely hard to exfil with great loot even if you’re not killing the compiler

@CoolRunnersClub I love the game and have put a ton of hours in since launch. I want to see it survive and thrive. After seeing what Cryo is I am *less* likely to recommend this game to anyone who doesn't want to play it like a job. That seems like a problem for the long-term player base to me.

besides all the regular Paul doom and gloom, “they should’ve made an easier game to get more fans” goofiness… this part cracked me up. Marathon climbed up to #2 global seller before and after launch… but it didn’t stay there forever! doesn’t count! 😂 🤦‍♂️

@rosoddle honestly once you figure out how to exfil you can still reliably get good loot in cryo without the vaults, it’s kind of like being in the pinwheel wings all the time

really really cool stuff but i can’t imagine many players will be frequently running this?

Do I have to waste my time looking for expensive weapons because the game won't let me into a place where those expensive weapons are everywhere from any UESC bot? Idgaf about what my team has as long as they take care

@SmojiiTTV Yeah, most of the player base won’t like it. It’s content for streamers and sweats. I love Marathon. I did every raid in destiny. But this shit… it is just a battle royale team death match.

While I really like the difficulty I do think some things need to be toned down a bit for the sake of normal people playing the game lol.
