-> Anarchy is the natural state of things. -> Under anarchy, people have natural rights they are free to exercise. -> Anarchy is vulnerable to "overthrow" by collective (government) use of force (power). The government that utilizes power most effectively will displace the anarchy, regardless of how righteous the ideology of the other governments are. (Righteousness is not a necessary condition of power). This is binary (but situation dependent) - a government either does or does not have enough power to enforce the rules. -> The displacement of the anarchy is inevitable because there exists collectives / governments with ideologies that support the use of force to displace anarchy. -> Therefore, for the government with the most righteous ideology to displace the anarchy, it also needs to be the most powerful government. -> Corollary: if you believe libertarianism (the preservation of natural rights) is the most righteous ideology, then it is also OK to believe that a libertarian government can possess the most power and use that power to displace external anarchy and protect against external threats, with the goal of preserving internal anarchy (natural rights) for the citizens of that government. The disputes within libertarianism are usually not about the purpose of government, it is about how government can effectively achieve the above. Libertarians can truly range between pure anarchist and neocon. I believe that the libertarian party can attract more people if it focused official messaging on the importance of preserving natural rights and the benefits of that, while leaving the "how" for internal debate. @beinlibertarian @LPNational

hear me out yall go find the person who first discovered and covered that this account was the first one to post the name “Cole Allen” in 2023 I have a theory that the person who covered it first has something to do with this account itself, because there is no way a dead account with a post made in 2023 could have surfaced up simply by searching up the name “Cole Allen”. when there are thousands and thousands of fresh and viral posts saying the exact name every minute.

It just got weirder… The Pepe account that posted “Cole Allen”, the accounts header background belongs to a website literally called “TIME MACHINE” That is trippy as hell. H/T @Gotanytruth timemachine.eu/study-on-quali…

@runequantum @IterIntellectus Then red is for those who the tribe values. If anyone in your life depends on you, you don't pick blue. If you have real people you care about (with more than mere emotions), you pick red. If you don't, you pick blue.

my only argument is that without blue button pressers we wouldn’t have communism or suicidal empathy or mass immigration or most of the problems afflicting humanity nowadays really

Fun fact, this does not hold with distributions besides 80/20. I've tried variations over the years and 80/20 is most accurate

Imagine a circle, with a little spinner on it that you can flick. The circle is 80% red and 20% yellow, like a yellow pie slice. You flick the spinner. It spins, and slowwwly stops. Where did it land?

Incorrect. The red button pushers believe they have no control over the outcome or they predict the outcome to be against blue pushers. Blue pushers predict that the blue pushers will win, because they understand there are a variety of reasons why some people might push blue and those reasons are numerous enough

Most people are approaching the red/blue question from the PoV of your contribution to the outcome. In reality, with 8 billion people, your marginal contribution to the outcome is 0. So we end up with this discussion about morality. But the question is more interesting: what is your theory of mind about what would the outcome be without your vote? If I thought most people would press red, I'll press that too. Not because I want to "contribute" to the outcome, but because I think the outcome is already determined. There was a poll running around where you were the last vote, and the results were shown to you at that point. The current split is 50/50. Results were >90% blue! I'd be curious to see the other way around: you are the last one. 60% pressed red. What do you do?

Why does the cost of food have anything at all to do with how the food is brought or served to you? Should people just tip 100% to avoid confrontation?

Blue is not democratic or left leaning. Only if you try to bully people into voting blue are you left leaning. In the scenario, its assumed (at least by me) that there is no coordination beforehand. In that case, voting blue is an individual sacrifice. However, trying to convince people to vote blue seems amoral

@subcountability This is a massively-overthought 'conservative case for voting Democrat.' Yarvin was roughly there at one point. So was (is?) Hanania. It's horribly lost.
