I disagree with this quote. It oversimplifies it, Yes, effort matters. But so does technique. Do you box out? On offense, do you spin off a box out or use a swim move? Do you get to the nail or the opposite side to make rebounds more available? All that stuff matters in addition to just trying hard . Rebounding is a combination of technique and effort. Agree or disagree.

Hoosiers being on after basketball is not fair. Wont get to bed until after 12 now. Currently, at the point where Jimmy goes nuts in state title game. Reminds me of MJ game 1 of 92 Finals!

What athletics can do for a school is crazy. This applies at the high school level to. The amount of familes/students a district can bring in from having successful sports programs and facilities is proven!

Talked to a plugged-in HPU alumnus yesterday. She said within 24 hours of Wisconsin win, High Point had 19,000 requests for student tours. 19,000! Matriculation will be limited largely by logistics/space. Crazy.

I really don’t know how college basketball was once able to play games with only 2 referees and no “challenges” or “reviews.”
What I do know is, the game was much better to watch before challenges and reviews.
Maybe they could replace them with a 4th referee? 🤔😉😊
