Take a look at Darling Diamond & Stunning (Big) Sam. These two dogs have been sitting in Rocky Mount NC Shelter as evidence in a cruelty case. But they are wonderful dogs!! Love toys! And are so very special. Please they need pledges & reposts to attract a rescue ASAP!

This sweet Great Pyrenees is in need of a home for his last 2-4 years of life. He’s in Hilton, NY (Monroe County near Rochester, NY) This is a 9 year old male pure bred Pyr, an emotional support therapy dog who is healthy, fully vetted & neutered. His owner moved to an apartment complex living and the door was open. He did what Great Pyrenees do and guarded.. reacted to a stranger walking near his (open) door leading to a bite. No skin was broken. But the owner has ten days to get rid of him, according to apartment complex. This was a human mistake leading to this unfortunate situation. A shelter will euthanize him at his age and now a bite. Please share. Wedgy is a sweet boy that’s misunderstood a bit. He was at another shelter but had bitten likely to pain or an uncomfortable situation. As we didn’t know the reason we waited untill we had a space away from the kennels to put him so we could manage better. What we’ve found is he’s absolutely wonderful, incredibly loving, sweet, great on a lead and very gentle 🥰 He seems calmer as an only dog. What we did notice in the other shelter was he was a lot more tense in the bigger group of dogs. He seemed unable to settle. Wedgy would love to be in an only dog home or with one other calm dog. Whilst we do not believe he’s a biter by any means I guess it’s worth remembering in very stressful situations he might struggle to cope. This is the kind of dog that if you respect what’s comfortable for him you’ll have the best buddie in the world 🌎🩷 He’s 3.5yrs old and looking for a home. Please share 😍

She has warmed up to staff while in shelter but her urinary symptom has not resolved. She needs surgery to biopsy the mass and make an effective treatment plan. This evaluation/diagnosis means that GATITO will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥 What my friends at ACC say about me: Gatito has made significant improvements since her arrival on the 17th and came forward out of the den, curious and sweet. She approached the assessor, arched her back, gently enjoyed petting, leaning in gently for cheek rubs and eating squeeze-up treats. She tolerated being picked up and then was set back down. She got slightly upset and gave a single hiss, but otherwise appeared reasonably calm and very sweet. Towards the end, she did seem to become somewhat aroused and did some additional hissing and a little posturing as if to swat, but then leaned in for more cheek rubbing so she appears to be sweet but a bit conflicted.
