They didn't win in Iowa. They won in Las Vegas. This is paperwork they do all the time. I'm a former blackjack dealer/slot attendant/slot supervisor. I didn't work in Vegas, but my casino wasn't a big deal for large wins. For Vegas, where this type of win is common, it's even less.

If I've exhausted every way of making somebody's night and given them outstanding service for no tip, that tells me they don't care whether or not they receive the best service. America has been a tipping culture for generations. That's a GOOD thing because it puts the power in the hands of the people actually performing the transaction. If the customer receives bad service, they have the power to deliver consequences, and the employee has the financial incentive to give the best service possible. Also, tips up front go a long way in ensuring your experience will be great. The parasites are the ones who think punishing the working class over the policies/practices of an entire industry is actually doing some sort of social service.
