@kadenbc @DrJordanBCooper I started using Claude to read youtube transcripts. A great way to go through a hour long video and distill the important things to a 10 minute read

@DrJordanBCooper The real meta is using an LLM for resource discovery -> create a reading list -> throw that into speechify and listen away. I’ve listened to more substantive, academic content in the last 6 months than I probably read in all of my undergrad.

@MikeWingerii The dumbest part is, if you are going to lie about it, why not just use photoshop or ai image creation. Why go through the work to just make a poor attempt at deceit

This was hilarious but there’s a deeper issue. The hilarious part is how easy it was to catch Sean Feucht lying to everyone in order to make himself look like a victim (like Jussie Smollett but MAGA). The deeper issue is… Sean Feucht, the famous worship leader with multiple ministries, friend of Shawn Bolz, lies a lot. Yesterday’s example of him lying about me and Julie was merely a convenient one. I quickly discovered it was not a message someone sent Sean but really a message that he sent himself, possibly because he knows I’m going to make a video about him outlining many lies and manipulations in his ministry. The issues I will uncover are serious. He even got a community note. But it doesn’t currently lay out all the reasons for it being fake. So, here’s a list. 1. Check marks indicate a sent message on WhatsApp, not a received one. Only senders see check marks on messages. 2. The praying hands, font, and timestamp are also from WhatsApp. 3. The color has been drained (see the praying hands which would normally have blue sleeves) likely as a way of hiding the green color inherent in a sent message. 4. The message is dumb, implying Sean Feucht wrote it. I have also attached a message I was recently “sent” warning me about Sean Feucht attacking me.

This is worth your time to watch. I need to own the fact that as one of the three board members who resigned from Founders, I was fooled. I trusted that there was reason to believe there could be a serious cover up of sexual abuse in the SBC. I was wrong. While there has been sexual abuse in the churches of the SBC, there was no criminal conspiracy or coverup at the level of the national convention entities. This documentary brings out a number of very important lines of evidence that shed light on what was happening at the time. I continue to maintain that without evidence, the @CrossPolitic trailer for By What Standard should not have made accusations without grounding them in fact. Doug Wilson's men did not simply "question" Denhollender in the trailer as they claim here. They associated her with powers of darkness. If the original trailer and documentary had contained anything even approaching the evidence presented in this one, I would not have objected to it. I believe in following the biblical rules of justice for accusations, especially for members in good standing of orthodox Christian churches, which Denhollender was. I maintain, along with @CrossPolitic, that accusations must have two or three witnesses or two or three lines of evidence. One weakness of this documentary is that it pretends we can know the motives of others. But that too is unjust, unless it can be proven with the rules of biblical justice, which it was not in this documentary. I would only ask that @CrossPolitic seek to follow God's law themselves rather than merely requiring it of others.

How The SBC Got Played An unlicensed investigation, a lawyer editing a report about her own client, and $13 million in tithes later, the largest conservative Protestant denomination in America learned what happens when men fear the mob more than they fear God. Special thanks to @megbasham and @RodDMartin for their contribution to this project.🫡

Let me see if I’m understanding this correctly… White boy summer is “laced with poo,” but the Talmud, which says that Christ is boiling in excrement in hell and allows for pedophilia, is a “gold mine”? That’s really strange. What would make someone think so highly of the Talmud, which was produced by those who hate Christ, and yet so horribly of WBS and the Christian brothers who made videos to encourage their friends?

It’s amazing to me to see “Christians” flock to this freaking sellout lying shrimp because he has a bully pulpit to attack somebody you don’t like. Here is @benshapiro talking about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died on the cross for my sins and the sins of the world. Ben Shapiro is evil incarnate and many who referred to themselves as Christians are being deceived.

@DrJoeBoot You are proving Joel’s point. You’re claiming he’s beyond salvation and repentance now because he said the holocaust narrative has been made into a new religion. Please demonstrate how what he said violates Christian orthodoxy.

Tragic to watch the total public implosion of a young fool & be reminded there is no place sin won’t take you. They were warned, they were corrected, they were instructed - German pastor Tobias Riemenschneider saw it & pleaded…to no avail. Reproof now is pointless (Prov. 9:8)

If I’m ever assassinated, & my “best friend” gets online & starts sharing old text messages from me about how in love I was with some ex-girlfriend, while insinuating that my grieving widow had something to do with the assassination, that person is a vindictive narcissist. Do not trust that person.

Our church requires that the members provide a Christian Education to their children and would discipline anyone who sent a kid who is not already mature in faith to one full time. The parents need to provide a Christian education. If the family needs help that is the job of the extended family, friends, and diaconate.
Owen Strachan@ostrachan

Brief thoughts on whether Christians should send their kids to public schools: 1. Many public schools in America are clearly not in a good place today (as stated in my essay) 2. Because of this, many Christians--including me!--have chosen not to send their children to them 3. In general terms, I would counsel Christians to weigh the costs of public school very, very carefully before sending kids to them 4. However, not all public schools are the same, and so I do see this as a possible option in some cases, especially where there is a strong local church that supports a Christian family 5. The Bible does not speak to the issue of public schools, so this is a gray area 6. A pastor may well feel compelled to give a gracious warning to his people about public schools; that's fair game 7. But wise pastors will do this with real care, humility, and deference to the individual believers' conscience 8. Godly pastors take pains not to bind the conscience of their people where Scripture does not explicitly speak; this is as much about a pastors' own self-control, wisdom, discipline of the tongue, humility, and love as it is about anything else 9. Different children sometimes do well in different environments; what works well for one child may not work for another, and there is no One Perfect Method by which to disciple children in the faith 10. Proverbs 22:6 is a wonderful principle, but it is in no way a guarantee that if you keep your kids at home all the time, they will become Christians; this is a (no doubt well-intended) misapplication of a biblical truth that has led to some real pain among Christian parents 11. Wise pastors help their people think well rather than force-feeding them what to think, for they know that the voice that every Christian needs to hear above all others is the voice of Jesus, not the voice of any fallible man, for Jesus and Jesus ALONE is Lord of the church and Lord of the conscience (Rev. 19:16) 12. This is non-negotiable: the unity of a given congregation should not be in any educational choice made by parents, nor in extrabiblical decrees issued without scriptural warrant from the pulpit; the unity of a given congregation should always and only be in the one true saving gospel of grace ****************** For more, please see my Substack essay: owenstrachan.substack.com/p/doug-wilson-…
