How detailed is everyone when adding annotations vs relying on @figma dev mode? Still finding better success in laying out component states and inline documentation to be more effective.

@jescalan When/if interested. I'd be down to riff on any design work. Curious to hear how he's thinking about this for this space (by default, I think of "oh another one" – but it sounds like you poked holes ha

I’ve got a friend who is looking to start a company in the travel space. He’s the CEO of a travel agency. I grilled him for an hour straight trying to find holes in his plan and he had really thought it through quite well - IMO the idea has more legs than like 90% of startups.

@ryancoughlin @martinrariga @heyequals It feels like you've both approached this problem with layout and explicit separation of hierarchy to make up for the lack of type hierarchy? i.e. if you can't use a bigger header, put a box around the next level down, etc.

@martinrariga @hobdaydesign @heyequals Thank you! Your styles landed in a great spot too. I feel better about where I landed after seeing a similar pattern and problem. Little problems are a pain in the butt—feels great solving it

@martinrariga @hobdaydesign @heyequals this tweet popped up on explore and currently solving the same thing. the 3 levels of hierarchy start to throw a wrench in type patterns. this feels like the _best_ approach I've tried so far.

Definitely! I think the most recent one is this example of chart setting sidebar where we have 3 hierarchy levels. Tricky part is the distinction between series name (mql_volume) and series section headers (General / Data labels). Here's a few versions we've explored, it's still in progress!

@Levidjones Product framing—killer to go all in on AI and working through the kinks there to deliver top-notch customer service. Design side, also great, its refreshing to see something this different and kinda all over the place (in a good way). Everything today feels kinda the same.

Internal product updates tend to suck. They fly by in a Slack channel or a slideshow is walked through on a live call. @rallyspace makes this process not only engaging but easy
Sam Dunn@sdunn

@rallyspace 1. We're mixing screen recording with familiar patterns from presentations / slideshows. The result is a flexible "show and tell" for your product updates — including clips, images, and slides too.
