@ciarannugent Oh… and the pensions too now. So €36,117 * 1.015 =€36,658.76 And before it’s said. I’m not suggesting that’s too high or too low but it does have a direct connection to €5 croissants …….and everything else!!

@ciarannugent 40hrs x €14.15 = €566 x 57 weeks (52 + holiday/sick cover) €32262 PRSI of 11.25% on top 32,262*1.1125= €35,891.48 Then there’s the holiday entitlement cost for the covering staff of €226 Total cost to employer: €36,117 PRSI is full 11.25% once you exceed €527/week

@Barry_Rabbitt @AlanHart81 @melonxis @Speedy_GTT @Formula2 Ever heard of causing a collision? He moves across the other driver unsafely which is the sole reason both of them crash out of that race. I’m not going to dive into the rule book to give exact rules to explain because you’re being delusional about how he can’t overtake

@Fizz_Quant @Formula2 He was in front when the collision occurred. It’s a race, if he’s 1inch ahead he’s ahead. It’s not rules of the road stuff. Easily would have made corner. Trust me! How many of the 99% have ever sat in a racecar? Those who have raced know - it was a racing incident. DramaQueens

@Barry_Rabbitt @Formula2 You do understand he cut over and the second he did they collided? I.e he was alongside, not infront? Either way: He would not have made the corner. It was stupid, and literally 99.9% agree.

@Barry_Rabbitt @Formula2 You actually have to be infront to cut over like that. Also, is it good racecraft to go even further inward and pointed to the apex in that corner at that speed? No. He’d never make the corner.

@Barry_Rabbitt @AlanHart81 @melonxis @Speedy_GTT @Formula2 If you can’t see what he did wrong then there’s no way you’re going to be convinced. He literally cuts in front of him and slams the brakes, breaking the other drivers front wing. I get you want to support him but be objective please.

@Barry_Rabbitt @Speedy_GTT @Formula2 I see the problem. You somehow made up that Dunne, being 10 centimeters ahead was the defending driver. Actually no, he was the one attacking, which is why its on him

@melonxis @Speedy_GTT @Formula2 The rule says ‘When defending, there must be no change in direction by the defending car, after the deceleration phase has commenced, except to follow the racing line’ So he didn’t break that rule. Which rule did he break ?

@Barry_Rabbitt @Speedy_GTT @Formula2 You cant be serious. He passed the guy by 10 centimeters cut in front of him and slammed on the brakes. That's practically criminal. He broke the rules anyway, what kind of racing incident are you talking about?

@Speedy_GTT @Formula2 That’s subjective. Fact is Alex didn’t break a rule. Moved and then braked. There’s no minimum time required both of those actions so long as they’re in that order. Racing incident for me. Move on!

@Barry_Rabbitt @Formula2 Way too close to the braking point to do that. The guy behind has no time to move inside or outside

@adamcooperF1 @lance_stroll So F2 then (but maybe with a better engine!) Is this the first time F1 drivers have looked on at F2 drivers with a tinge of envy?!

I asked @lance_stroll for his take on the 2026 F1 regs: "The cars could be lighter, and we could have some nice engines with sustainable fuels. I guess maybe we're not so happy with the regulations as Aston, but probably Russell and Antonelli are happy with the regulations now! So I think everyone has their opinion on it. It would just be nice to have some cars that sound good, a little bit less complicated and just more like normal good racing. We have the green fuel now, we can go racing with sustainable fuel, and we could have engines that sound really good, and light cars. And it's a shame that I think as a sport we're not doing that."

@mccabe_brian @cryptobuddydude €5 has to pay the collection, the sort in local depot, the truck to shunt the parcels to the delivery depot, sort at the depot and then the delivery. Plus all the admin costs and overheads like warehouse rent, rates, utilities, professional fees etc.

Fastway Ireland delivery service would actually make you want to stop buying online and go to the shops to buy your goods. Thank god they are gone as they are a terrible service. My order from Sports Direct was mysteriously cancelled today......and I now know why.

@SportmphMark @dr_obbs Most impressive aspect for me was how he used the initial tarmac run off to arrest just enough speed to get through the grass area and avoid the barrier. Even while ‘going off’ he’s maximising his laptime!!

@dr_obbs The counter steer on the grass was nothing. Every driver on the grid could've done it. Impressive thing was how he kept his nerve when sitting on top of the kerb.
