When we artificially constrain our housing supply, we force people into overcrowding situations as a result of a fear of adding modest density, often mislabeled as 'overcrowding.'

In sum: don't let Safe Systems become a buzzword. Hold DOTs accountable for building deadly roads while launching lame PSAs that ask drivers not to follow the design cues they're actively setting. We *can* have a real Vision Zero approach. But we certainly don't have one now.
