It’s not that nobody cared. The difference is, back in 2019, people were reacting to a criminal case. Democrats did speak up, they demanded oversight, went after Acosta, and called for investigations into Epstein’s plea deal and prison death. But it wasn’t turned into a political branding tool. Now, MAGA turned Epstein into a campaign slogan. You all made it your identity to “expose the pedophiles,” hoping the whole list would be packed with Democrats. And because of that, of course there’s gonna be more attention and involvement, it became a movement. But let’s be honest, a lot of that was performative. It wasn’t about justice, it was about using this case to go after your political enemies. Now that the names dropping aren’t going how y’all expected, suddenly it’s “Why didn’t Democrats care back then?” That’s not a real rebuttal. Just because the whole party didn’t mobilize around it doesn’t mean people were silent. There were calls for accountability, but it wasn’t a clout chase. If anything, the fact that both sides are implicated proves the point: this isn’t about left vs. right. It’s about elites abusing power. None of these names should be protected, Dem or Republican. But acting like one side was totally quiet or didn’t care just because they didn’t make it their entire personality? That’s lazy.

I’ve been saying this every time someone brings that up. It’s either that or, ‘Wouldn’t the Democrats have released it if Trump was on it?’ Like no, that’s such a lazy way of thinking. There are definitely powerful people on both sides they’re protecting. They must think we see the Democratic Party or Joe Biden the same way they worship Trump. I don’t defend politicians just because they’re Democrats. If they’re connected to this, expose them too.
