Takes a lot of guts to come out and speak so openly and honestly about the struggles you’re facing that no one else sees. Fair play to Tiv, hope he’s able to find success in his career and life. #ReadingFC rdg.today/its-sht-ive-ha…

Anon Opin.@anon_opin·
Multiple societies throughout history all came to the conclusion that charging interest on loans was immoral. Punishable by death in some cases. Now we've all done a collective 180 and decided it's the glue holding the world economy together? I think we got it right first time.

@JCeacc @anon_opin Student loans are a good example where interest free makes sense. The government gets a return on its investment through a more talented workforce

Tivonge Rushesha “I’ve hated this season. I haven’t made the bench in the league and that’s a disgusting feeling. It’s f**king disgusting, it’s so shit.” #ReadingFC 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

@TalkReading @ReadingFC Really? With the 6th biggest budget in this division, and no ‘giants’ financially, Cardiff literally had to recruit a new team along with many others who lose key players each season on ‘free’ transfers to bigger fish, they love data and data don’t lie according to them does it?

So nothing has changed for @readingfc still watching generally boring and unentertaining football and all that investment for what? Looking for improvements is hard to find and in terms of results, they’ve not improved either!

Business I work for is London based so when I was looking to buy I had a look at London too. Looked at flats in my price range and every single one of them wanted more than I was currently paying in rent as a service charge.
Philip Oldfield@SustainableTall

London has built lots of flats…but few people want to buy them Since 2014, some 20,000 flats have been completed in Wandsworth. But nearly 40% of modern flats there have sold at a loss in the last 5 years archive.is/A3rfy

'Nothing is more miserable than one who is always out and about... He does not realise that it is sufficient to concentrate solely on the divinity within himself and to give it true service" - Imperator Marcus Aurelius
David Senra@davidsenra

Great men of history had little to no introspection. The personality that builds empires is not the same personality that sits around quietly questioning itself. @pmarca and I discuss what we both noticed but no one talks about: David: You don't have any levels of introspection? Marc: Yes, zero. As little as possible. David: Why? Marc: Move forward. Go! I found people who dwell in the past get stuck in the past. It's a real problem and it's a problem at work and it's a problem at home. David: So I've read 400 biographies of history’s greatest entrepreneurs and someone asked me what the most surprising thing I’ve learned from this was [and I answered] they have little or zero introspection. Sam Walton didn't wake up thinking about his internal self. He just woke up and was like: I like building Walmart. I'm going to keep building Walmart. I'm going to make more Walmarts. And he just kept doing it over and over again. Marc: If you go back 400 years ago it never would've occurred to anybody to be introspective. All of the modern conceptions around introspection and therapy, and all the things that kind of result from that are, a kind of a manufacture of the 1910s, 1920s. Great men of history didn't sit around doing this stuff. The individual runs and does all these things and builds things and builds empires and builds companies and builds technology. And then this kind of this kind of guilt based whammy kind of showed up from Europe. A lot of it from Vienna in 1910, 1920s, Freud and all that entire movement. And kind of turned all that inward and basically said, okay, now we need to basically second guess the individual. We need to criticize the individual. The individual needs to self criticize. The individual needs to feel guilt, needs to look backwards, needs to dwell in the past. It never resonated with me.

- Nerfed our race start advantage by introducing woke "pre-start" - Protesting two pieces of plexiglass onto the halo (advantage of 0.001s) - Still not tackling the obvious engine gap (advantage of roughly 0.6s) How will the Federation Israel Automobile nerf Ferrari next? 🤔
La Gazzetta Ferrari@GazzettaFerrari

🚨 | Ferrari removed its halo winglets in China after FIA discussions about their “borderline” legality. Despite passing scrutineering, the team chose to avoid the risk of a protest or post-race penalty, especially as the aerodynamic gain was only a few hundredths of a second. 📰 @wearetherace
