@Om_Codes_ If you are a fresher, stay away from mnc's. Join a startup. You won't have a work life balance. You will have to work for 12 hours a day. But you will earn better than a average fresher. You will work and learn on the latest stack. You will get esops for long term wealth.

Just started my career. Got my 3rd salary today. I should feel proud.. but sometimes it feels like I chose the wrong path or maybe I just don’t know what’s happening. Big companies are laying off thousands. Those people will might look for jobs in mid-size companies. But what about the ones already in mid size companies or start-up? Where do they go if they get laid off? Even while studying or working, this thought keeps coming back "Will this even be helpful in the future?" Because I see what’s coming - AI is getting better - Layoffs are increasing - Competition is getting tougher - And with more competition comes more pressure. - Continuous upgrading. - No pause. - Work beyond office hours.. or risk being left behind. - Pressure for that too. And then I think ..what if I want to switch someday? Now my competitors will be from Google, Oracle, Microsoft. Why would anyone choose me unless I do something extraordinary? So now there’s pressure for doing something extraordinary. F

@kivanofff Too much work bro. A VPS is a lot easier than managing cloud micro services until you reach a scale where you can afford a team to manage it.

Fun fact: if they hosted this on literally any VPS provider out there the bill would have been $100 not $46k.
