Dear @united: I’m once again honored to pay $8 for shitty wifi while waiting to be on ANY airplane equipped with a Starlink connection - for free. Have you considered making wifi free for everyone while you finish outfitting the fleet? [Edit: This post didn’t send when I thought I was sending it on the flight, because the WiFi wasn’t just shitty; it never worked!]

Remember 1929? The hidden leverage is back and nobody’s talking about it. Check out our lively conversation with Fred Vogelstein about whether 2025 is more like 1999 or 1929! youtube.com/shorts/wJMThrA… via @YouTube

I don't have a kitchen but i love the location, price, setup and view from my apartment so continue vibing here (longest time in one place for maybe 20 years) Since I don't have a kitchen I rely on a network of private chefs to deliver me my daily bred When I first got here and there was a certain stability to the economic chaos (i.e. porteno middle class all worked remote jobs for USD and enjoyed subsidized EVERYTHING from the government while saving in dollars) Then 2 months after I entered the apartment a man with a chainsaw started destroying those subsidies and everything became much more chaotic economically (hopefully for long term prosperity, this is where my thoughts and prayers are regardless of political postionalities) One by one my chefs closed their businesses (man its been crazy seeing what economic chaos does to smaller businesses) Now I have 2 private chefs 1. A reasonably priced and basic meal set from a venezuelan immigrant who isn't very reliable on timing 2. An unreasonably priced but absolutely marvelous and highly organized Argentine woman This whole winter I worked with the Argentine woman but she had to raise her prices again and it got just a bit too unaffordable (the rise in prices in dollar terms has also hit me pretty hard, but I'm here for it) It was heaven, her menus were life the infinte solar system, always something new to try or go back to the basics I already knew I loved With her high organization patterns, there was also a neuroticism (they go hand in hand, for me as well) When she raised her prices, her anxiety on delivery times made me fire her temporarily as it reminded me too much of my sisters (🤣) and switch entirely to the Venezuelan immigrant who I've been working with the past couple months The food is basic but good, at the beginning he would change things up in exciting ways but lately it had become stale and repetitive. It felt like he was cutting corners even though I was paying a bit extra to insure quality and more meat, he has been a nightmare to work with on setting times with my busy schedule, always showing up hours or days late I know from my experience living in Colombia that this is quite common and was not a shock but it has now become unmanageable and gives me insights again into why I appreciate Argentina so much Its not like northern brazil or colombia or peru where time is much more amorphous, it's definitely more amorphous than in the US or Germany but its not impossible to get things done, its like in northern Italy, great relaxed creativity matched with follow through Now I'm thinking about biting the bullet and going back to the Argentine chef and 4x the prices Hope you enjoy my mad ravings about cultural learnings!

Me: “Hey, Alexa, when will I get #Alexa Plus” on my Echo Show 10, which I bought to get Alexa+. Alexa: “I’m not sure how to help you with that.” Thank you, Alexa, for clearing that up!

@AmericanAir Four gate changes later, 20 minutes between each gate, I get the distinct sense that AA views it customers as cattle to be moved from gate to gate rather human beings. #DFW #AA6405

Silion Valley doesn't make stuff anymore. China co-opted Apple and everything is "AI". As @peterthiel said, "We were promised flying cars and all we got was 140 characters." Listen to Stewart Squared with @StewartalsopIII

@PeterSchiff @saylor DJT isn’t smart or patient enough to figure out the SEC rules for raising equity or debt. So give credit to DJTjr for knowing how to work the system.

Trump Media Group just announced plans to raise $3 billion to buy cryptocurrencies. Instead of salvaging a failed business by borrowing a page from @Saylor's playbook, it's too bad Trump's company can't open a factory and produce real products to help Americans avoid his tariffs.
