Money is just a db entry for barter. Person with seemingly a lot of money can barter a lot. That’s all that means. But whatever they consume still has to be produced and whatever they produce still has to be consumed by others. Giving everyone equal money will not magically create stuff. Ushering into socialism will not magically produce stuff. You and I will still have to work. Whether it’s capitalism or socialism. You either work for some individual or the govt but you have to work. This concept is very hard for some people to grasp. Free money only works if people continue to do their jobs to produce goods and services.

@protosphinx I only specifically countered the logic that you used to imply something. Why the whataboutism? About India's 91 crisis I don't think it's wise to fully blame it on "communist" policies. Lot of other factors too imo. Coming to poverty dropping in the last decade.....

Ironically this will just speed up the replacement of people by robots: Now: people get low paid and treated like shit ⬇️ so in turn they stop working hard and deliver low quality work ⬇️ now there's incentive to replace them with mid quality robot (higher quality and/or cheaper) ⬇️ more money made and thus invested into robots r&d ⬇️ robots become higher quality and replace mid quality workers now too ⬇️ people get paid even less cause now robots cheaper than people and better, layoffs ⬇️ people rise up and start protesting ⬇️ gov protects people by increasing minimum wage ⬇️ robots now become even more attractive because they are even more cheaper now compared to the minimum wage with higher quality work ⬇️ nobody hires any people anymore
