ENGLISH SCHOOL CLOSING FOR EID Miriam Lord Primary School in Bradford has announced it will close for Eid celebrations on 19 March 2026. Parents were informed the school will shut for tow days this week. Why is an English school closing for an Islamic holiday?

@KieraDiss Why does it have to close for everyone? Isn’t that a nightmare for parents for childcare? Surely the children who celebrate Eid can stay home and do their thing and other kids can go to school and just have a non-learning day so nothing is missed?
