@dvdsgl Maybe it's driven by people looking for any way to cut expenses right now? In the past I've offered to unlock certain features for the remainder of their subscription...the customer feels like they still got something + you benefit from getting them hooked even more.

In some cases we offered to apply the discount with a new annual commitment. I just can't quite wrap my head around the idea that a sale would be assumed retroactive.

We did a Memorial Day sale and many customers asked "how do I apply the coupon to my existing subscriptions?" I never expected people to assume that a sale would apply to *past* purchases. Anyone have experience with this or suggestions?

So....with Foodora leaving Canada in 2 weeks, are there any smaller delivery apps in Toronto that restaurants have turned to? Either ones with smaller commissions or other services that the big guys don't have?
