Does anyone use a service similar to Spreedly to have a universal vault that acts as a proxy to real payment gateways? Their Ruby gem has not been touched about four years, which does not seem to be a good signal at first.

@fxn @kexfabriken I'm finding Spreedly adding more risk now than gateway lock-in. Buggy Stripe integration, outdated docs, & they charge for test gateway API calls. Serious outage mid-holiday season.

@kexfabriken If a company wants to use several gateways to diversify, without a service like this you cannot move clients at will because each service has its own vault. They become silos.

@1Easterbrook Totally fine with ads but the layout isn’t going to be supporting advertisers as best it can. The layout encourages fast scrolling past several ads clubbed closely together.
