@Tesla_AI That is just super smart thinking and power of a platform that has iteration via OTA updates instead of rolling it into a “new” model 😁

Look—I use everything. @AnthropicAI, @OpenAI, @GeminiApp, @grok, even multi-agent setups like @cline.
They’ve transform my work: code co-pilots, research chains, sub-agents handling ten layers deep.
Amazing.
But basic smart home voice? Still treats me like it’s 2016. The gap’s ridiculous.
Who’s with me?
English

And yeah—tried @madebygoogle Home. Tried @Apple Siri. Tried @AmazonAlexa. All flop on basics.
Gemini nailed my pool last summer: camera on, test strips up, perfect chemical plan in five minutes. Saved me hundreds of dollars.
But groceries? Half in Keep, some in Tasks, some orphaned in Reminders, some buried in a note like it’s hiding.
Brilliant at miracles, useless at milk. Fix the milk first.
English

2026: AI codes exceptionally good, tackles research tasks with grad level skills, and diagnoses my pool chemistry in minutes from my phone.
But I still can’t voice-add ‘bread flour’ without it turning my shopping list into a glitchy Frankenstein.
We fix code, strategy, research… but not kitchen basics? Come on. Backfill the damn foundations.

What’s your biggest voice-assistant fail?
A) Shopping lists go rogue
B) Reminders vanish
C) It just… ignores you
D) All of the above

In a world that often feels cold and transactional, I’ve learned that the very things that break us can build the strongest foundations for a blessed life.
You love genuinely and deeply—only to end up heartbroken, empty, drained by others’ selfishness. But flip it: That vulnerability teaches you the depth of real connection, weeds out the unworthy, and fills your heart with unbreakable resilience. It’s the root of authentic joy.
You go out of your way to care for friends and family—they use you, vanish when you need them. But flip it: Those one-sided efforts sharpen your boundaries, attract true reciprocity, and reveal the rare gems who stay. It’s the bedrock of meaningful relationships that sustain you.
You try to go the extra mile in business to help someone—they take it for granted, exploit it, then criticize. But flip it: That generosity hones your wisdom, builds unshakeable integrity, and opens doors to collaborations rooted in mutual respect. It’s the foundation of success that feels earned and fulfilling.
Embrace the pain; it’s sculpting your blessings. What looked like loss was always gain in disguise.

One of the best pieces I’ve seen on the true impact and opportunity of frontier AI.

My gut feel is there is more than meets the eye to this all.
Because it seems to me from what @sama has posted that both @OpenAI and @xai have an agreement with the @DeptofWar that is offering the protections @AnthropicAI is claiming they wanted.
Something doesn’t add up.

Anthropic’s limits are reasonable. No spying on Americans, no robots deciding who dies. But the American people should set those limits, not tech execs. Congress should’ve passed sensible laws already - and AI companies should follow those laws. Congress needs to hurry up.

HUGE BREAKING NEWS: Why OpenAI and @sama could say yes where Anthropic couldn't.
Hint: it's architectural. OpenAI can say yes while Anthropic can't BECAUSE OF HOW THEY ARE BUILT.
HUGE analysis of all of X and everything is going on between OpenAI and Anthropic:
docs.google.com/document/d/1NL…
THIS IS THE BEST WRAPUP YOU CAN FIND ON X.
Thank you to the X API and @blevlabs for providing me with his AI, which is way way way better at doing this stuff than any other publicly-available AI (I'm the first outside of large enterprises to have access to this).
Sam can play with the redlines, while Anthropic can't.
Which is why @DarioAmodei had to play hard ball.
And this has EVERYTHING to do with our civil liberties and safety.
This is the most important thing for everyone to understand.
Please reshare this widely so everyone understands what the heck is going on here. So important.

What a time to be alive.
Yes, there is a lot of bad shit going on.
BUT, seeing the latest releases from @xai and @claudeai makes me so excited for what's next.
We are living in the best time in Earth's history to take ideas from thought, through iteration, and launch them to the world.
I'm turning 40 this year. I can't wait to see what I build this next decade.
Here's to the builders!

Insane! Muslim extremists’ ISIS-fueled Bondi massacre (16 dead, dozens maimed), and the Australian government reacts by punishing citizens with gun grabs: buybacks, more limits – on the back of some of the harshest gun restrictions in the world, while avoiding addressing the root issues.

I’m not crying 😭🤧😆
Brilliant work @chevrolet, you captured the essence of brand loyalty against the backdrop of the family unit and the passing of the seasons.
Benny Johnson@bennyjohnson
Chevrolet has outdone themselves once again with their new profoundly emotional, pro-family Christmas commercial. Chills from beginning to end. This is what it’s all about. Be ready to cry.
