@_chulan @zeddotdev Do you mean this is not a useful feature? Well, that's arguable, and btw, there's a decent chance the initial version of the git graph lands today. Looks like I gotta check again in a couple more hours.

@zeddotdev In the meantime, jetbrains has removed the Code with me feature, and you should care about the git graph.

@realsigridjin @Fried_rice They’ll prolly take it down like Apple did after their App Store frontend source code leaked a little while back.

@hackSultan Ayy! Awesome stuff you’re doing, man. I’ve been following you for a bit and I’d love to escape the new feature even more than I already have. Thanks.

This would be genius actually @nikitabier Where people I follow can reply to my tweets but also the people they follow (like 2nd degree follows) And maybe you can see that in small text too like: @photomatt (via @levelsio): "Bla bla bla" Then if you realize that's an AI bot you just unfollow your friend
Matt Mullenweg@photomatt

@levelsio @X One interesting approach would be like a web of trust, not just allowing people you follow but allowing people they follow. Creates huge pressure to unfollow sloppers.

So Amazon just shot 200+ satellites into space. But let me tell you what this actually means, especially if you live in Ghana or Africa. Amazon has a government deadline. The FCC told them to get 1,600 satellites up by July 2026 or lose their operating license. That is why launches are happening this fast. Now what does this mean for us (Africa) Starlink already entered Ghana in 2024. And the moment it did, it started charging less than half of what our local ISPs charge. So what happens when Amazon Leo arrives with the same model, backed by more money, more satellites, and the entire AWS cloud infrastructure behind it? Your local ISP does not have the balance sheet to compete with Amazon. They can barely maintain their current infrastructure. When two American giants start a price war over Africa’s internet market, African ISPs are not players in that fight. They are the collateral. The good news is prices will drop. The real question is who will own the infrastructure your country runs on? Both Starlink and Amazon Leo route your data through servers and ground stations they control, mostly outside Africa. That means your government, your hospitals, your banks, your schools, all depending on foreign pipes that a foreign government can switch off, slow down, or price however they want. We will get cheaper internet, but we will just not own any of it. One question is still pending, why are they rushing to own Africa’s internet? 🤔

JUST IN: Amazon has launched 200+ satellites

@Senyo197 @elliot_solution And that should reduce reliance on undersea cables. It should also significantly reduce latency because it’ll be a shorter trip.

@Senyo197 @elliot_solution Actually, Starlink still uses those sea cables. Instead of cell towers (masts), the info goes up from the ground station (connected to undersea cables) to the satellites and back to your dish. In the future tho, the satellites should communicate directly with each other.

This what Claude says: “The format performs depth. By pretending to correct a misconception, the writer positions themselves as someone who sees what others miss — even when there’s no real correction happening. Each line slightly inflates the previous one toward grandiosity.”

So, I’m not sure if AI is responsible for this or not, but what’s with this “this isn’t this, it is that” pattern I’m seeing so often lately? Nobody made any of those claims, so why refute them like that? Is there a name for this style of talking/writing? I’d love to know more.
CODE | Systems Architect@_CODEwalker

This isn’t just a feature update, it’s a system redesign for interaction. Apple isn’t adding bells and whistles, they’re creating a unified AI layer across the device. Siri + Spotlight + creative tools = a persistent interface It can now think with you, act for you, and streamline your workflow. The shift isn’t incremental, it’s turning the iPhone into a system that responds to intent and not taps on the screen.

@VadimYuryev I’d watch it even there was no thumbnail, but if I were pick, I’d go with the “Ultimate Upgrade Guide!” one. I like that there we see the CPU core counts in there, and no “HOLY SMOKES.” Lol

@VadimYuryev @pururajdutta Exactly, my point. Yeah. I expect next Neo to only be a chip upgrade at the same price, so it’d get the RAM bump for free. No price increase.

Absolutely not lol. New MacBook Neo with A19 Pro and 12GB of RAM will replace the current one, and the new one will most likely be the same exact price. Apple’s all about value and keeping price points the same. Then maybe for A20 Pro model of macbook neo theyll drop the 256GB base model and itll be $699 with 512GB. Or $599 with education discount.

@pururajdutta @VadimYuryev Ah, I see. Okay. Do you mean they could sell the old and new Neos together? I could see them doing that only if they raise the price next year, but remember the M2 Air launched with a complete redesign; a new screen (& notch), 1080p camera, and MagSafe.

True. I’m just saying that if they were to upgrade the model in say about two or three months, they’d probably add it as an upgrade rather than a whole new product launch. What you’re saying is correct too, but the pricing could be the same only if it were to launch a year later. Even then, they could still sell it as an upgrade. When they launched the M2 Air, they did this.

@pururajdutta @VadimYuryev And the A19 Pro in the iPhone 17 Pro Max already comes with 12GB of RAM if you didn’t already know. I forgot to mention that

@pururajdutta @VadimYuryev Those are chips with the option of of varied amounts of RAM. We’re talking of a phone chip here with a fixed amount of RAM. They just drop it in the NEO as is (it’s missing one less GPU core tho, but that practice is standard with those chips too).
