I will never watch The Odessey I am banning it from my household forever. You could not pay me to buy a ticket, stream it, rent it, or even watch it i"ronically". The only way you are getting me through this thing is by strapping me into a chair Clockwork Orange-style and physically forcing my eyes open. And nobody should “hate-watch” it. Do not buy a ticket just so you can complain afterward. Every dollar is a vote. Every view still rewards the people taking one of the foundational stories of Western civilization and turning it into this. Let it fail. Let it become a warning. Some things do not deserve your curiosity, your attention, or your money. Nobody should see this movie. Nobody should support it.

I'm about 25 minutes into watching The Odyssey So far this movie is terrible. The acting is literally B Movie tier. The dialog sucks. Forced. "Elliot" Page as Achilles was hysterical The whole thing is boring and the casting is just incongruently odd Legit Nolan's WORST movie

Just got out of the theater… The Odyssey has its moments, but it was a massive, disjointed, subversive, mostly inauthentic disappointment. Nolan swung & missed. Full review coming Friday (later today)

Metacritic user score for The Odyssey just dropped to 5.3/10 495 ratings in and it’s getting worse, not better. The more actual audiences see it, the lower the score goes. That gap between critics and real users is embarrassing. Rotten Tomatoes can keep faking their audience numbers all they want. Metacritic users are telling the truth. Absolute disgrace. Stop ruining our stories.
