Important update from the first site of our Inside Safe initiative that we launched this week:
29 people who were living in an encampment under the 101 freeway and surrounding area are now inside and safe.
@mikebonin This is a comprehensive list of exactly who not to vote for if you’re trying to fix this city and have it go back to a regular city from a Third World city.
Are you voting this weekend? If you’re not sure whom to vote for, I’m offering recommendations for some of the more important and competitive seats. Here’s a quick list on this graphic, or you can find more details at:

A little piece of LA History reappeared for a brief moment when they tore down the Wally's on Westwood, this amazing advertisement was revealed. Research shows 1930's ice cream co. promoted by Spanky from our gang.
In the Los Angeles City Hall scandal today is their first meeting. I urge all of the council members to walk out of the council meeting if those three racist disturbing people continue to sit in the chair.
The situation at Los Angeles city council is appalling. As a 13 year neighborhood council member and 10 year budget advocate I’ve called on all three of those disgraced city council members to resign immediately for the sake of our city. There is no room for racism.
@reporterliz@ladailynews@ocregister Nury needs to resign. Kevin de Leon doesn’t even know the Pledge of Allegiance and needs to resign. This racism is disgusting. And Nury promoting child abuse saying she would take the child around the corner and give him a beat down proves she is disputable racist
Oof, I can't believe this got posted -- an @ladailynews and @ocregister columnist has added to the deeply offensive rhetoric that's already been aired today. This is horrible.
We’d have a lot less homelessness if we focused on ending it instead of outlawing it.
Banning homelessness near schools sounds great to many people, but it’ll just move tents to the sidewalks kids take to school.
That’s whack-a-mole, not progress.

@willpowerpacker Plain and simple assaulting somebody in front of millions of people is an arrestable offense. What are we teaching our children? It’s OK to use violence to lash out when someone use hurtful words? Pathetic. Will Smith should know better.
Black people have a defiant spirit of laughter when it comes to dealing with pain because there has been so much of it. I don’t feel the need to elucidate that for you. But I also don’t mind being transparent and say that this was a very painful moment for me. On many levels.
