You become hyper-independent & at the same time desperately seek approval. You want a relationship, but panic when you're in one. You want to be loved, but it feels smothering. You stay with hurtful people hoping they'll change. Attachment trauma is painful.

We're very sad to share that our long time friend and colleague Jim Roberts passed away on Friday evening. Jim's huge legacy includes #jobsdesk, #museumandsociety, and widespread community and charity work. Our thoughts are with Jim's family and so many friends who will miss him

@FromPhDtoLife Didn't really enjoy my undergrad, LOVED my masters and burnt out hard during my PhD which caused me to leave. My masters was full on with lots of practical elements and I did well in it.

@FitFounder I LOVE cold showers - I'll do the whole thing cold and be in there 10-15 minutes. Issue with shower just now means I can't do it...I'm now considering cold baths to get my cold water fix 😆

I'm on day 10 of my 30 day cold shower challenge. Upped my time from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. Benefits I'm experiencing are better mood, more energy & less need for coffee. It also trains me to cut the time between thinking about an action & doing an action. 20 days left.

Every time I see a job that may appeal to someone that has crossed my path I send it to them. I know how quickly the sector moves, how hard we work and we can so easily miss the job that is YOUR job. Be the horizon scanners, the cheerleaders, the connectors. ❤️
