@MerlinFDC4 Radioactive iodine therapy. Hundreds of scans and outpatient appointments (still ongoing 5 years later!!) Speech and Language therapy, Dietician appointments, physiotherapy appointments - All free at the point of care. Thank goodness for the NHS…I wouldn’t be here without it!

@MerlinFDC4 Me too Merlin. I’m a cancer survivor and a proud Clinical Nurse Specialist in the NHS. I had 5 surgeries, the longest was 12 hours on the table. I needed Consultants for Head & Neck, Neurology, Upper GI and Cardiothoracics to all be in the operating theatre while it happened.
