So. Only 1⃣4⃣% of U.S. voters say they know someone who is a refugee. But 8⃣9⃣% of people who know a refugee support the U.S. refugee resettlement program. Imagine what could happen if more Americans knew the refugees & forcibly displaced ppl in their communities?

I think the main reason Johnson and McConnell want Bibi to do this is bc they want images of protests — you better believe they’ll be huge — and police brutality on national TV; they think it helps Trump. Schumer and Jeffries? An own goal.
