@karomancer @interesting_aIl Just because something rots, means it’s good?
English

@interesting_aIl Is cheese and milk not real food? Or almonds?
I always got ads for farms growing up in California 🤔

@DJSnM Don’t think this is a disposable vape. The removable SoC would be unnecessary.
English

@maiab I’m gathering that I have the same temptations as a child.

And people wonder why I'm not a huge fan of just talking to AI chat agents like a friend or using them as a replacement for a real therapist
Keith Sakata, MD@KeithSakata
I’m a psychiatrist. In 2025, I’ve seen 12 people hospitalized after losing touch with reality because of AI. Online, I’m seeing the same pattern. Here’s what “AI psychosis” looks like, and why it’s spreading fast: 🧵

@karomancer The aviator girl look. But, that seems to be a lot of product?
English

I'm thinking of moving in one of these directions...
What do y'all think?

Karina Chow@karomancer
I've had the same hair cut for over a decade so in January, I said 2025 will be the year of hair experiments. Been growing out since late Feb...so far going for a punk shag or wolf cut. It's growing on me! Let's see what else we can do after it grows a bit more!

@L0m3z Asprin or other anti inflammatory meds can help. Depending on the issue at hand, try methyl prednisone
English

@deedydas That doesn't beat the CAP theorem, it just let's you be more C.
English

@Katygetskrunk Your thermos should have a lid and you can dispense the tea (in small quantities) into the lid), and then swirl to cool it down. Provided the product starts around 82C, in 5 minutes it should hit 75C, and then at 20 minutes, 55C.
It's a *ritual*.

@bitcoingardener @adamisfigurin Pilates mobility work is good for anyone. My ankles agree.
English

@adamisfigurin Pilates (go for the core work)
Pottery (go for an artistic outlet)
Cooking classes (go for the cooking)
The moment it seems like you are there to meet women, you won't meet any! Always seems to line up when least expecting it anyway

@karomancer Lmk if you need help. I can clean out the mental cobwebs here.
English

@t3dotgg 1. Recommendation algo is the best
2. Integration with my smart speaker / sound system is good
3. Offline auto download works well
English

With the Spotify price increase and the Tidal price decrease, why are you still on Spotify? It’s officially the worst option in every measurable way
Theo - t3.gg@theo
Spotify is the worst music app by far wtf why do yall use this still
English

@__steele Netflix had a system called “halp” that did this. Dont know anyone on that team still, but if you find someone, they might be able to help.
English

@Katygetskrunk This is a problem at tech companies too. You'd be impressed by the length that folks go to make sure cords aren't stolen (locks that are more expensive than the cords).
English

@jaydcarlson @ImpulseLabs_ I think the "magnetic knobs" are going to experience problems.
I don't think the center screen will be a problem, provided that the joint is sealed using something temperature resistant.
Biggest question is why are the cooktops raised.
English

@sargun @ImpulseLabs_ It just looks like it was designed by a bay area start-up full of 20-somethings who have no experience designing white goods products. I just have a hard time imagining how many cycles of starchy pasta water or 400-degree oil boiling over this thing can take.
English

It's here! Say hello to The Impulse 30" Cooktop (also known as highest performing stove yet). Its state-of-the-art technology delivers premium performance, all while paving the way for a clean energy future. And the best news? You can reserve yours today:

English

@jaydcarlson @ImpulseLabs_ My worry with this design is repairability. I spilled some water on a range a few years ago, and replacing the control board was going to be a $700 repair plus $500 of labor vs. replacing it was $2000.
English

@jaydcarlson @ImpulseLabs_ I'd bet the joining material between the screen and the metal isn't gasketted and is just an inlayed insert (or a really think rubber gasket, and if so, that shouldn't get much dynamic force, so it'd be fine). That being said, I'd love if @ImpulseLabs_ would do a teardown.
