@impish_partier @Needle_of_Arya That’s because they’re all trying to overthrow two democracies, but think how different people view Ukraine and Israel. It isn’t about arms sales or FMF loans, it’s about Jews.

the simple tweet is that in normal times, people under 40 are not this openly* anti-Semitic without the mob rule of social media gassing them up about "Zionists" (*I accept the idea that our Jewish friends may have seen other obvious indications otherwise obscured from Gentiles)

Tanks from the American Third Army rolled through Buchenwald, liberating one of the Nazis' most notorious concentration camps on this day in 1945. Among the prisoners freed was a French woman who had been lined up against a wall moments earlier, waiting for a firing squad to carry out her execution. As American troops approached, the Nazis had prepared to eliminate evidence of their crimes -- including the prisoners. Lined up against a wall with other inmates, she watched the firing squad take position. Then a telephone rang in the commandant's office. It was a message from the Americans: the firing squad had been seen entering the camp. If they wanted to live, they would spare the prisoners. The soldiers fled. Her name was Andrée Peel -- known to the French Resistance as "Agent Rose." She would become one of the most decorated women to survive the war. When German soldiers marched into the port city of Brest in June 1940, the 35-year-old beauty salon owner committed her first act of defiance: she hid fleeing French soldiers and found civilian clothes for them so they wouldn't be captured. Days later, when General Charles de Gaulle declared on the radio that "France has lost a battle, but she has not lost the war," Peel and her friends typed out his words and slipped copies through letterboxes across the city. Within weeks, she was leading an under-section of the Resistance. Under her code name "Agent Rose," she passed intelligence on German naval movements and troop positions to the Allies. Her most dangerous work came at night: she and her team used torches to guide Allied planes to improvised landing strips, then smuggled downed British and American pilots through a network of safe houses to remote beaches, where they escaped on submarines and gunboats. Over three years, she saved the lives of 102 Allied airmen. In 1943, when the Gestapo closed in on the Brest network, Peel fled to Paris and assumed a new identity. But shortly after D-Day, a fellow Resistance member broke under torture and revealed her location. She was arrested and taken to Gestapo headquarters, where she was stripped and interrogated. The Gestapo tortured her, using methods that included simulated drowning and beating her throat; the damage she suffered from their interrogation would cause her pain for the rest of her life. She prided herself on one thing above all: she never broke. "I was born with courage," she said. "I did not allow cruel people to find in me a person they could torture." After the Gestapo were done with her, she was transported to Ravensbrück, the notorious women's concentration camp, where she narrowly escaped death multiple times. Upon arrival, prisoners were marched into what she later realized was a gas chamber -- but for unknown reasons, they were released instead of killed. She was lucky twice more during her time at Ravensbrück: first when she fell ill with meningitis but miraculously recovered, and then when she was selected for the gas chamber during roll call, but a Polish prisoner managed to snatch and hide the paper with her number before the SS noticed. She was eventually transferred to Buchenwald, where liberation finally came. After the war, she returned to Paris, where crowds welcomed her singing La Marseillaise. She fulfilled a promise made in captivity by making a pilgrimage to Sacré-Cœur to give thanks for her survival. She received the Croix de Guerre, the Medal of the Resistance, the Liberation Cross, and -- at age 99 -- France's highest honor, the Légion d'honneur, presented by her own brother, a four-star general. She received the Medal of Freedom from President Eisenhower and a personal letter of thanks from Winston Churchill. At her centenary in 2005, she received a letter from Queen Elizabeth II. Asked the secret to her long life, she replied: "I still feel like a woman of 50. I think that time has forgotten me." © A Mighty Girl #archaeohistories

Campaigns targeting workers at aviation hubs like JFK are operating at a key node in U.S. military supply chains, inside heavily regulated, federally protected infrastructure. By their own admission, these campaigns focus on mapping logistics networks and identifying pressure points. That creates obvious openings for disruption, intelligence gathering, and exploitation by actors with insidious intent to map, pressure, and potentially disrupt U.S. military logistics. It might sound boring, but this is exactly the kind of thing that should be setting off alarms.

A guy in a wheelchair rolled into a bagel shop the other day. No, this isn’t the beginning of a joke. It’s the beginning of one of the most inspiring conversations I’ve had in a long time. His name is Ron. Within the first few minutes of our meeting, we discovered we have a lot in common. Both grew up in New York. Both made Aliyah around the same age. Both entrepreneurs. And unfortunately, both tied to this country in a way none of us ever wish for — we both know what it means to lose something deeply personal because of life here. Ron told me his story. “I suffered a critical spinal cord injury as a tank commander in the IDF during the Second Lebanon War. One moment I was 20 years old, king of the world, leading my men in the field… and the next moment I felt like a cockroach that had been stepped on. I had to relearn how to live my life from scratch and rebuild my entire identity.” Spinal cord injuries are about as hardcore as injuries get. They impact literally every aspect of life in ways most people never think about. Ron told me that because he was blessed (or cursed) with a very non-conforming personality, he bounced back to independence very quickly. But there was one thing that kept eating at him. That he could no longer really access Nature. “When someone suffers a major mobility injury,” he told me, “they are basically confined to pavement. The simple, healing moments most people take for granted — walking along the beach with someone you love, camping under the stars, hiking on a nature trail — those things are off limits for the rest of your life.” And then he said something that stopped me in my tracks. “I’m on a mission to make Israel the first country in the world to make nature fully accessible to anyone with a mobility disability.” How? Not by paving more paths. By building a nationwide network of incredible all-terrain wheelchairs that can drive on sand, rocks, dirt — basically anywhere. Think of it like ride-sharing. Docking stations across Israel’s beaches, parks, and national sites. Someone with a mobility disability opens an app, books a chair, shows up, unlocks it, and suddenly… the entire outdoors opens up again. Freedom. Dignity. Independence. The crazy part? It only takes about 200 chairs to cover the entire country. Each chair costs about $36,000 to manufacture and deploy from start to finish. The plan is to fund the chairs through philanthropy. Then Ron goes to the municipalities and tells them: host the chairs and match the donation by covering the operational costs. For the end user, the experience will be essentially free. Let that sink in. A national network of all-terrain wheelchairs that allows people with mobility disabilities to experience Israel’s beaches, forests, deserts, and parks like everyone else. Something like this has never been implemented on a municipal level — let alone a national one. And the total cost to make it happen? $10 million. That’s it. It might sound like a lot, but think about what that money can do and you’ll realize that it’s actually a low price to pay for something so beautiful. Ten million dollars to open the outdoors to more than 500,000 Israelis with mobility disabilities, including 24,000 wounded IDF soldiers. Boom. Just like that, Israel once again becomes a global leader — not just in technology, but in humanity. Ron is leading this initiative personally and transparently. He’ll be in North America this May on a speaking tour to raise the funds needed to make this vision a reality. If you want to invite Ron to come speak at your home or community, you can reach out directly to his personal email or phone - no middle men. Sometimes innovation isn’t about another app or another exit. Sometimes innovation is about giving people their freedom back. And honestly? Those are the ones that matter most. 🇮🇱💙 His number: +972 50‑534‑4335 Link to donate: tevanua.com

Sylvester Stallone on standing for the Jewish people: “People don’t know this, but in my family there are Jewish roots on my mother’s side. My mother, Jackie Stallone, was born Jacqueline Labofish. That family story has always reminded me that the Jewish people have gone through centuries of struggle, persecution, and resilience… and yet they are still standing. When I think about that, I feel respect. A lot of respect. The story of the Jewish people is the story of perseverance. From the ancient patriarchs to the modern State of Israel, there is a chain of faith, identity, and survival that has withstood everything. And I’ll say something clearly: antisemitism has no place in this world. Hatred against Jews is something humanity should have overcome a long time ago. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that supporting Israel and the Jewish people is not only a political issue. It’s about recognizing the history, the culture, and the right of a people to exist, live in peace, and feel proud of who they are. If you are Jewish, be proud. Your history is a story of survival, of faith, and of light. And the world needs more light.”

4 year old Jewish boy, Istvan Reiner, smiling for his portrait shortly before he was executed in Auschwitz. (1944) The Last Smile of Istvan Reiner... This is the final photograph of a little boy named Istvan Reiner. Just four years old. He smiles innocently at the camera, unaware of the horror waiting just beyond the lens. Born on July 6, 1940, in Miskolc, Hungary. Deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp in June 1944. This image captures a moment before Istvan and his grandfather were murdered in the Auschwitz concentration camp — part of the Holocaust that claimed millions of lives. He had no idea what Auschwitz was. No idea that the train he boarded wasn’t taking him to safety. No idea that history would remember his face — not for what he did, but for what was done to him. Istvan’s photo reminds us of the human cost of hatred. Of what is lost when fear and cruelty rule. Of why we must never forget. © Reddit #drthehistories

🟥Costa Rica has announced the designation as terror groups of three of Iran’s key regional proxies as well as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (#IRGC), the bedrock of the Tehran regime. President Rodrigo Chaves’s administration confirmed on April 9 that, along with the IRGC, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Yemen-based Houthis have been designated as terrorist entities that pose a threat to national security, with an immediate ban on entry for operatives from these groups into Costa Rica.
