Great points here from @dansenor As I’ve pointed out, never once heard any calls at these Hamasnik rallies for the hostages to be released. Now that there is a chance to stop the war, they march and chant to Globalize the Intifada.

Look at this map. Really crystallizes how incredible what Israel is doing. Not just the distance, but the size. As @saulsinger put it to me, “It's kind of like if Cuba were able to render the US helpless.”

This is what Israel is about. Farhan al-Qadi, a 52-year old Beduin-Muslim Israeli citizen, was released from captivity by special forces of the IDF. He was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7th, along with another 240 Israelis. All Israelis are celebrating his returning home. He’s being treated in Soroka Hospital by a Doctor who’s an Orthodox Jew, and this is quite standard in Israel. (My dad z”l was treated by a wonderful Muslim doctor 9 years ago, before he passed away). Jews, Muslims, Druze—we care for each and every Israeli. Nothing here is unusual in Israel. I wouldn’t have bothered to post this had there not been this huge fake “Apartheid” campaign. We risk our lives for each other. We live together. We respect each other. And we’re all darn proud to be Israelis!🇮🇱❤️

One of those hostages is our only son Hersh.” Jon Polin and Rachel Goldberg’s son Hersh was at a music festival when Hamas attacked on October 7. “This is not a political issue. This is a humanitarian issue.” Tonight they walked out to a standing ovation and chants of “Bring them home!”
