My guy sold his only plot of land in Ikorodu and even took a high-interest loan just to fund her Masters in the UK.
They agreed he’d join her in a year, but while she was sleeping, he was the one doing her assignments just so she’d bag that Distinction.
He paid for the flight, the Birmingham rent, everything.
After a month, "My King" suddenly became "I’m busy." and then went ahead to block him everywhere.
He checked her IG from a friend’s phone and saw a photo with a new guy “New beginnings, finally with my soulmate.”
She didn't just leave,she used his life savings to buy a ticket to a life that doesn't include him.
Now he’s in Lagos paying back a loan for a woman calling another man "Husband" in cold weather.

In my estate, we don't have business with NEPA. Once my card is finished, I subscribe another one.

NEPA came to knock on our gate. I did not answer. Unfortunately, the gate was not locked, so they let themselves into the compound. I had no choice but to answer them. They greeted. I asked them if they were here to cut the light. They said yes.
I responded, " I'm in support. Cut it!" and walked back inside the house. The man was shocked.
We have not had light for months. The estate contributed over 30 million to procure a transformer. No show. Just stories and low voltage that cannot charge a torchlight. Every roof has a solar panel. That's how bad we have lost faith.
Yet, they had the audacity to come and check for bills. He insisted I call somebody else. I asked him how he thought I would be able to charge my phone to make a call if there was no solar. Cut the damn thing.
We should have invited them a long time ago to do this. When they were done, I went to greet them and told them, "Well done." 👍
