@compoundfinance @opyn_ One of the combinations we're looking into is @CoverProtocol insurance on @iearnfinance stablecoin vaults like yDAI. We wish saveDAI were already live - if it were, more people's savings may have been recovered 😢 Back to building

The original version of saveDAI (not yet available) focuses on just @compoundfinance DAI deposits covered by @opyn_ protective puts, but as market conditions change we've expanded our vision to support more combinations of interest-bearing assets and insurance coverage

This is why we're building @save_dai. People looking for a modest interest rate on their savings need insurance (like FDIC insurance in the US). That's possible today, but there's a lot of friction Our goal is to make it easy peasy: Step 1: deposit into @save_dai Step 2: done!

@opyn_ At first blush, it seems like European options may not be as good a fit for savings account (FDIC-style) insurance. Since the option can only be exercised on expiry, the amount you could receive may be less certain. But maybe that's not quite right...will need to dig in further
