Look closely—this street dog isn’t being aggressive. It’s guarding the child, even warning its own pups to stay away. This is instinct, this is care. 🐾

Police Mediate Unusual ‘Cat Custody’ Dispute in Bengaluru Bengaluru In one of the more unusual interventions for the city’s patrol units, officers from the Seshadripuram Police Station in #Bengaluru were called to settle a neighborhood dispute triggered not by humans, but by their feline companions. The incident began when a local resident’s male #cat reportedly impregnated a neighbor’s female cat. Tensions escalated after the female cat gave birth to four #kittens. According to police, the owners of the female cat arrived at the neighbor’s doorstep carrying the kittens. They demanded that the male cat’s owners take full responsibility, insisting: “Since your cat is the father, you must raise these kittens yourselves.” The demand led to a heated verbal altercation between the two families, prompting a call to the police to prevent the “catfight” from turning physical. Upon arrival, the Hoysala officers found themselves in the role of domestic mediators. After pacifying both parties, the police reached a creative settlement to preserve neighborhood harmony: neither neighbor had to keep the kittens. Instead, the officers facilitated their transfer to a neutral third party, effectively resolving the dispute.

India has lost over 1500 tigers, over 4,000 leopards and more than 1,500 elephants in the last 10 years. Unnatural causes of death. We see hundreds and thousands of abandoned cows on the streets surviving on trash. In every city. There's a movement against street dogs leading to much brutality. Why is nothing safe under this regime?

Piyush wrote the words of a animal supported but didnot write what anti-animal people said. Nor mentioned that cruel, coercive, illegal method of catching with prongs was used — perpetrator should be booked. @Benarasiyaa didnot support voiceless. Why one sided journalism ?

"Go on, leave the locality" "Will get treatment for anyone bitten by dog" In UP's Baghpat, a woman could be seen confronting locals and objecting to Nagar Palika team of dog-catchers who caught hold of a stray dog.

Man Booked for Assault on Neighbour’s Pet Dog in Bengaluru Bengaluru In a shocking incident of animal cruelty, a man identified as Gopi allegedly assaulted his neighbour’s pet dog in Avverahalli on April 9. The attack reportedly followed an altercation after the #dog barked at his wife. According to police, the accused, said to be under the influence of alcohol, entered the neighbour’s premises and struck the tied dog multiple times with a wooden log, leaving it unconscious near the gate. The pet’s owner rushed the injured animal to a veterinary facility, where it received treatment and is now out of danger. The assault was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the residence. Acting on the complaint filed on April 11, Madanayakanahalli police registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023, Sections 325 and 329. Investigations are underway to determine further legal action. Animal welfare groups have strongly condemned the incident, demanding strict enforcement of laws to prevent such acts of cruelty.

@ASHWATTHAMA001 @path2shah So why you tell all the animal lovers to take dogs home? If they bring home and they bark, you will have more problems. BTW I don’t like kids playing and shouting on the street. With your permission, can I smash them?

Five months ago, we got together in Freedom Park, to protest an order from the SC that we knew was not a solution but would lead to chaos and unspeakable violence against community animals. What we feared has come true. So, yesterday, we raised our voice again. +

FBI, the top investigation agency treats animal abuse as a warning sign for human crimes. No wonder @DeepikaBhardwaj the animal hater has also defended the disgusting criminal rapist and murderer Kuldeep Sengar on TV news.

First they drive over animals — then they target women and children. These are the same people who drive over dogs, cats and cows on the streets of India.

Maharashtra again, Disturbing footage from Muktainagar. A tranquilized leopard is still a living being, not a punching bag for a crowd. Why is a mob allowed to interfere in a professional wildlife rescue? Crowding, shouting, and physical violence toward a frightened, sedated leopard only escalate danger. Using sticks on a sedated animal isnt heroism. it’s a violation of the Wildlife Protection Act. This animal belongs in the forest, not a cage or a range office. We must prioritize scientific rescue over political stunts. Let the leopard go back home! @Dev_Fadnavis @CMOMaharashtra @LiveLawIndia @PMOIndia @priyankac19 @RenukaCCongress @dilthi_gujarati @domdyer70 @UNHumanRights @PetaIndia

#BITSPilani is supposely an institution of higher education. Cruelty to voiceless animals is the lowest of low you can get! @EduMinOfIndia @PetaIndia
Voiceforvoiceless@pawsunmute

🚨 URGENT: BITS Pilani Refusing Entry to Community Dogs 🚨 9 community dogs picked up from the BITS Pilani campus (Rajasthan) were brought back after due process — but shockingly, the campus refused to take them back. For 4 HOURS, these voiceless animals were kept waiting in a van in extreme heat at the gate… only to be turned away. Worse, authorities allegedly suggested they be dumped in the jungle — a direct violation of animal welfare laws and a death sentence for these dogs. Let’s be clear: These dogs belong to that territory. They were sterilised/handled as per rules. They MUST be returned to the same location. This is not just cruelty — this is illegal displacement and institutional apathy. 📢 We demand immediate intervention: Ensure safe return of all 9 dogs to BITS Pilani campus Accountability for those denying entry Strict action against any attempt to abandon them elsewhere Silence enables cruelty. Raise your voice. Tagging for urgent action: @pfaindia @Manekagandhibjp @moefcc @animalwelfareb1 @RajGovOfficial @PoliceRajasthan #BITS #Pilani #AnimalCruelty #IllegalRelocation #VoicelessLivesMatter #StopCruelty @RajCMO @bitspilaniindia @dilthi_gujarati @SpotzHaroon @JahnaviIyer @pvs000 @meenakshibhanja @MerchantReema @PercyBillimoria @sharmaleena @TSCbyrachana @advparth9s @pricatttt @priyankac19 @YSaghal @SnowPrince077 @saumyabhatt19 @joedelhi @ShrijeetNair06 @TheViditsharma @stray_helpers @SaviourOfStrays
