Some very famous philosophers of the modern era have posed that Christianity is nothing more than a wish fulfillment. That the longings that we have for a creator and divine Father are nothing more than an evolutionary psychological urge, and so we fulfil said urge by the creation of religion — Christianity in particular. Well… I don’t think they have it all wrong. Christianity is a wish fulfillment, it’s just a true one.
