PTO is Paid Time Off And it is a request. They are in fact allowed to ask what the reason is. It's actually pretty standard. Ive never had a job not ask for the reason for a request. And guess what, they have the right to deny it too 😱 You also have the right to walk out the door if they do. It works both ways.

I ordered a dishwasher from @HomeDepot. They delivered it to me by @fedex. Both assured me 3x the item would be brought to my 3rd floor condo. It was not. It was left inside the front door of the building. Neither will do anything about it. 13 phone calls, "it's not our problem" and a complete runaround. NEVER buy from Home Depot! @HDCares is a joke.

@lance_corporate Yep, sold my Honda to Carvana last year for DOUBLE the value of two different dealerships I went to. Carvana came to my house the very next day and within 30 minutes of arrival I had a check in my hand after they looked around at my car.

I went to go sell my old car to a local dealer and dude offered me $3K under Kelley Blue Book after making me wait for 30 minutes while his "guy" pretended to do some used car magic in the office upstairs. After he told me his price, I laughed out loud, and thanked him for his time (nice guy, actually, and not really his fault). He said, "Yeah, I know you can probably get more for it online, but that's because they have house money, we're sort of beholden to our lenders and their rates, etc." This guy who sells beat up old trucks to unsuspecting teenagers at 18% interest tried to give me a sob story about not having enough money to buy my old commuter Toyota Corolla loooool I hopped back in the car and within three minutes, I had literally booked an appointment with Carvana who will now be in my driveway to pick up my car in less than 3 hours, and handing me a check for full market value. I hope Carvana puts all the dealerships under. They deserve it.
