I've been building many cool things with GPT-5.5. It's been my daily driver for a couple of weeks now. But on top of building, the best new feature is that it's much better at general knowledge workflows. I use it for basically everything, from coding to driving living documents!

My niece has parents who keep their phones largely hidden so she doesn’t see them on it. She’s never had her own tablet. At four years old, she has the focus to sit through an entire two-hour film. She’s rapidly learning to read. She loves Alice, Harry Potter, A Christmas Carol.

Parents - put your phones out of sight when you’re with your kids. I really mean this. Especially at home. Treat it like a landline and “hang it up” in one place. (Wife and I have a little holder for them in the kitchen) When you need to check it, go over to where it’s placed and look at it, then walk away. Do not carry it around like a digital pacifier. Be present without it in sight. I guarantee this will make a huge impact on their childhood experience.

@azamsharp I tried that and it blew up my ability to use UICollectionView. And I basically abandoned the project after that.

Core Data and SwiftData Coexistence in the App is possible but annoying as hell. Migration to SwiftData might be a better approach.
