@Tablesalt13 Every one of these so-called human rights tribunals must be abolished. Why would we allow leftist activists to use state power to silence and steal from ordinary citizens for stating obvious facts?

Repurpose the Legacy Patullo Bridge as a linear park for pedestrians and cyclists to use , potted plants & trees, park benches , lighting .... It still has a lot of life left in it for this new purpose since it will not be used for vehicular traffic - It should be setup as a linear provincial Park- a great boost to local tourism -as a destination to visit and enjoy the views of the Fraser River and landscape.... @marcuslemonis Wo. This is underrated how big this could be. Clarity Act falls into place likely next month or two - BBBY could be market leaders in tokenization of R/E. BBBY is very undervalued.

@dlevine815 I have a paid account however it’s very clear it is trying to reduce compute expense sometimes (ie it gets lazy). Would prefer to know if my request is being limited and to have an option to pay extra or burn credits for exactly what I want.

@MarkJCarney @ABDanielleSmith I didn’t vote for Carney/ Liberals but this is well played. How does he bring in hundreds of billions from energy exports into Canada AND pacify the crazy lefty climate change zealots… Build the world’s biggest carbon capture plant. (Which also creates a zillion jobs)

Premier @ABDanielleSmith and I have agreed to a framework built on shared ambitions — to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, unlock the full potential of Alberta’s energy resources, and build a stronger, more sustainable, more competitive economy.    Here’s what we want to achieve, together: pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-r…

I’ve found the ones that leave to do ‘in house’ end up coming back. Be helpful with the transition in a limited way that protects your time and doesn’t share ur secret sauce. Thank them for their business and let them know they are always welcome to restart with you. (Text them in 3 months to see how things are going )

A client is canceling after 3 years of record-breaking growth. Now they want us to train the in-house team replacing us. The audacity is high. But so is the opportunity. Do we: 1. Tell them good luck and goodbye? 2. Charge a 5-figure consulting fee for the training? I'm torn. Is this a disrespect or a business opportunity? 👇 Yes (Train them) or No (Walk away)?

@thebacklinkguy @theseoguy_ Have u tried to set some up recently? 10x harder than a few years ago. I.e. record a video on site at the physical location with signage and a government doc with address to back it up.

Duct cleaning as a stand-alone business sucks generally. We ended up just giving it away to boost install sales with my HVAC co. However we may have stumbled on something. Client reporting over 100 SOLD duct cleanings in the last 30 days. Book to chat if u clean vents.

If I had a 16-year-old son who wanted to get into the trades, I’d tell him one thing become an electrician Every AI data center in the world runs on electricity. Every EV charging station, every electric vehicle, every “smart” home all powered by electricians. The world is moving toward full electrification, and electricians are the ones literally wiring the future. Plumbing, HVAC, roofing all great trades. But electricity is the backbone of everything tech-related and will only become more valuable as AI, automation, and EV infrastructure explode.

@AizikZimerman Brilliant. Always wanted to try that. The most difficult HVAC tech skill to replace is a great diagnoser. Why waste their time doing grunt work. perhaps they could do quick fixes only and leave longer jobs to others.

Most plumbing and HVAC companies load up their service trucks with $500 to $20,000 in permanent truck stock. Anything a technician might need to complete a job. We do the opposite. Our trucks carry almost no stock at all. The traditional model ties up cash flow, increases waste and theft risk, and is hard to track. Instead, we run what we call a diagnostic install model. Our best diagnostic technicians go to the home first. Once the work is sold, it’s handed off to an installer who uses a pre-kitted packout for that job. Every job type has its own packout, already staged and ready to go. It’s easier to track, reduces mistakes, and keeps us organized and efficient. The downside is that it adds logistical complexity, but it’s been worth it. Sometimes improvement comes from rethinking the basics.

@therobertbrooks Went through that stage for years with my hvac co. The trick in the end was hire more expensive, talented people. Delegate the roll to them 100% - at first they will do it 50% as good as u. Mistake will happen. Eventually they will do it far better than you ever could have.

I'm not sure how to fully describe this challenge with owning a small business, but it happens to be the challenge that frustrates me the most. It seems like everything that needs to get done, I have to be the expert in it first and tell everyone else how to do it. Example: Need to pay some bills at the distributor, reconcile it against QBO invoices, and log the payment? I've had to figure it out... yet when I ask someone else to do it, they can't figure it out on their own. Literally, nothing can be done unless I figure it out myself first. Why do I have to figure it out? Why can't someone else figure it out then come to me with the damn solution? I know.. It's the downside of a super small company with only 11 employees. It's quite painful
