This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽‍♀️ Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.

The Sam Vines signing is a low risk, high return signing. He was waived by the Colorado Rapids so his move to Houston is to reclaim his career after a boatload of injuries that included collarbone, broken tibia, hamstring and other issues. Did not look the same as prior to his move to Royal Antwerp in Belgium at the Rapids. Nothing better than seeing a player return from injury to reclaim his career and confidence.

@chepito2k10 I have to speak to the 'terrible player' remark in your post. I remember the excitement around the trajectory for Nelson's development after a fantastic Open Cup and some promising performances in the league. He was playing for his U23 national team. He wasn't terrible.

I'm just sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out what they mean by "contributions". A terrible player with an unfortunate injury. Should've left 2 years ago. 2 wasted years we could've had another player taking up that U22 slot

@smithhmackenzie It's better for me and for my family if I don't. My health is better. I'm less temperamental. I'm sharper. I'm more productive. It used to help me with anxiety, but I couldn't use it that way forever. Over time, it turns into something else.
