Yesterday in front of the Austrian Parliament: At the MUT demonstration, people spoke out on behalf of those who cannot come themselves—people with ME/CFS, many of whom are seriously ill and invisible. Their voices must not be ignored. Politicians must act: more research, better care, real prospects.

If you’ve had C0VlD, you very likely have damage to your brain, cardiovascular and immune systems. That’s what the data says. You may or may not have symptoms. Or you may not realize the symptoms you do have were caused by C0VlD. Each infection adds more damage. Protect yourself!

Six years ago WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Despite tens of millions of deaths, the world has not sufficiently addressed the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, and we are more vulnerable to future pandemics due to anti-science officials leading government agencies around the world.

Scientists have grown mini-heart models in the lab and found that SARS-CoV-2 can infect heart tissue directly, even without blood flow. ➡️ This may help explain how COVID-19 affects heart cells. ➡️ Using stem cell–derived “mini-hearts,” researchers showed that the coronavirus can enter and replicate in cardiac cells, potentially disrupting heart function. ➡️ Importantly, even in these tiny heart models without a circulatory system, the virus still damaged heart muscle cells. 👉 This suggests direct infection, not just inflammation, may harm the heart. 1/

Chronic illness has a way of revealing friendships you thought were unbreakable. People drift away, not out of cruelty, but because your world stops spinning at the same speed as theirs. I don’t blame them. I just wish they took the time to understand.

I just scrolled through my timeline and read that a kid had died in Mississippi of whooping cough and another one in Canada of measles. This is not normal. Vaccinate your kids if you want them to be healthy. And don't listen to antivaxx BS, not matter who spreads it.
