Outside of the top player or two, teams were significantly less skilled on *both* ends. Combine that with ridiculous volume.

@schnadle @irisketball Luka has around the 25th highest turnover percentage, he doesn’t have a good AST/TO ratio, he’s a high volume shooter but is only slightly above average for ts%, and he leads the league in usage percentage. Compared to his peers he’s a wildly inefficient superstar imo.

The most obvious of which is shooting percentage stats which Luka constantly hovers around slightly above league average ~+3%. I also think things like TO%, ORB%, AST/TO , Free throw rate, and usage percentage are factor.
