Take a 102-year-old man from his home in Canada and you risk never seeing him alive again. That’s the MAID reality families fear. @OPP_News show up in Tillsonburg with a court order. Son: “Not opening the door. Break it if you have a warrant. It’s under appeal.” The father is clear: he’ll die where he chooses. He sounds clear and rational to me. The dispute? Sister wants the farm. Father wants to stay. She alleges dementia, son says he is clear and rational. Police are caught in the middle. But enforcing a Thursday night order on Good Friday with no time for legal response is dirty pool. In the end the officers leave because they are not going to kick down the door and the son knows it. The son also says he doesn't trust the police or the courts. These days, I don't blame him at all.

Sentiments of Venezuelans I’m going to say this once, and I don’t care if it makes people uncomfortable. If you have never lived in Venezuela If you did not grow up there If you did not watch your country collapse in real time If you did not stand in food lines If you did not watch your parents lose everything they built If you did not have to leave your home with nothing Then shut the fuck up. You do not have an opinion. Your opinion does not matter. And you don’t get to lecture anyone about what’s happening there. I’m Venezuelan. I lived there most of my life until my early twenties. I watched my country go from a functioning democracy to full blown socialism right in front of my eyes. This is not politics to me. This is trauma. Before socialism, Venezuela was not perfect, but it worked. There was trade. There was money coming in. There was investment from the US. There were jobs. There was food. There was medicine. My family had five businesses. We had our home We had investments. We had a future. Then the government started nationalizing everything. Private companies were taken. Foreign investors were pushed out. Imports were blocked. Price controls destroyed production. Corruption exploded. And everything died. Not slowly. Violently. People didn’t suddenly become poor because of “capitalism” or “the US” or whatever bullshit slogan people like to repeat online. They became poor because socialism destroyed incentives, destroyed production, destroyed trust, and destroyed hope. People today in Venezuela are not debating ideology. They are trying to survive. They are trying to find food. Trying to find medication. Trying to keep their families alive. So when I see people in the West posting from comfortable homes, full fridges, stable currencies, and safe streets talking about “imperialism” or “US bad” or “Trump this or that” No. It’s not complicated. You’re just ignorant. China is not rebuilding Venezuela. Russia is not rebuilding Venezuela. Cartels are not rebuilding Venezuela. They are stealing. They are extracting. They are draining what’s left. If the US comes in and reinvests If refineries get rebuilt If infrastructure gets restored If imports open back up If food, water, and medicine become accessible again If people can work and earn with dignity Then yes. Let them take all the oil they want. Because at least something gets built instead of destroyed. This is something to celebrate. Not because it’s perfect. But because for the first time in a long time, there is hope. Hope that families can eat. Hope that people don’t have to flee their country. Hope that Venezuela can function again. If you’ve never lived through a country collapsing If you’ve never watched socialism destroy everything around you If you’ve never had to leave your home because staying meant starvation Then again Shut the fuck up. This isn’t theory. This isn’t politics. This is lived experience. By Stephen Subero

How dare you. Canadians are starving. They are dying at the hospital. They choose MAiD because they can’t afford to live. You cut funding for our veterans. You give us record deficits. You tell us sacrifices need to be made. But in less than a year, you give over $6.5 billion to a foreign country? This is as irresponsible as it is insane. CANADA FIRST.

Avg Canada Pension Plan payout during retirement is $899. A family of refugees gets (EACH MONTH): -$1899 as an allowance -$949 as an employment incentive policy -$1800 as a child tax benefit -$500 for RAP Housing top up And a start up allowance of $8200. Not to mention the free healthcare, dental and other health benefits we don’t get ourselves. All paid for, by us, as taxpayers. Here’s the kicker: we are accepting refugees from Bermuda. Who speak fluent English and have ZERO war or conflicts in their country. INSANITY.

Beverly Hills TV Doctor Sheila Nazarian has a warning for America “I wanna beg the American people for something. I am an Iranian — My family escaped on the back of a pickup truck under gunfire in 1985-1986, and made it, thank God, to this amazing country. In Iran, it started the same way. It started on the college campuses. It was the Islamists joining hands with the leftists. Same thing as it's happening here. And I want to give you a warning. —-You need to speak up, we need to take our country back and take it back to the Judeo-Christian values it was founded on. Because if we don't stop it in the tracks, look at what's happening to Europe. Look at what's happened many other places all over the world. The time is now to speak up to protect our country, to protect the justice and the rights that you love and you appreciate in this country. The time is now.” “Sympathy towards these people is appeasement and a sign of weakness, and it's not going to stop them”

This raw 40-second clip from inside a car is starting to ripple through conversations, zeroing in on the mounting concerns over Italy's EU digital ID wallet rollout—mandatory for all citizens by 2026 under eIDAS 2.0. The commentator looks straight at the camera and lays it out plainly:“ You’re not seeing this on TV, but the whole country is waking up right now. People aren’t rioting; they’re just DONE. Shops closing, markets going cash-only, taxi drivers refusing the system… Everyone figured out the same thing at the same time: If we all simply stop scanning, stop complying, stop feeding the digital ID machine; it dies on its own. There’s a BLUEPRINT. Peaceful. Massive. Unstoppable. Italy is showing the world how it’s done in 2025.” While mainstream outlets aren't amplifying it, this perspective is echoing in peer-to-peer shares amid privacy worries and voluntary non-compliance whispers—from cash holdouts to calls for stronger safeguards. Italy's IT Wallet pilot is expanding this month, but with 90 million digital IDs already issued (mostly voluntary SPID and CIE since 2010), the shift to mandatory has sparked real debate across the spectrum. It's a snapshot of how everyday folks are rethinking the balance between convenience and control, much like farmer stand-offs elsewhere in the EU. Watch the full clip What's your take on the blueprint? Save it. Drop a reply—let's discuss.

The sentence that stopped millions mid-scroll:“ It was never about feeding the world. It was about controlling the seed.” Niklas Gustafson just dropped the clearest, most chilling explanation of how we lost control of our food—and people can’t stop sharing it. This is what he shows, step by step: - 1980: Corporations win the right to patent living seeds - They slightly modify what nature already created → instantly own it forever - Farmers who saved seed for 10,000 years are suddenly criminals if they replant their own harvest - Today just 4 companies control >60% of all commercial seeds worldwide (some vegetable seeds: 95%+) - Their seeds are designed to survive only their chemicals → you buy both, every single year - Break the contract? They sue you. Plant something else? The crop dies anyway. Result: Independent farmers turned into customers with no way out. Ancient seed diversity collapsing. Soil degrading at record speed. Food moving from fields to factories. Gustafson ends with the line that hits hardest: “This wasn’t about helping farmers. It was about replacing them.” 1 minute 17 seconds that will change how you see every grocery aisle. Watch with sound on. Share if it makes your blood boil the way it should. Who else had no idea this happened so quietly? Video below — turn volume up

@DougieMacF74446 @DeniseS0718 @FoodProfessor Canadian farmers are struggling with increasing costs (feed, fuel, equipment, electricity, permits, regulations, taxes, etc) and decreasing profits. Very difficult to compete with countries that do not have the same strict requirements.

Here’s another piece of information you won’t often get in the news. Had a very interesting conversation with someone in the beef industry… Something is off in Canada’s beef import system. Beef importers are currently being denied permits, product is sitting in storage, and domestic processors appear to hold disproportionate control over import quotas. Based on what I’ve learned, Canada’s outdated beef import framework is limiting competition and pushing prices higher. No surprise beef prices have increased more here than in the U.S. This deserves a serious review by policymakers — and perhaps even the Competition Bureau.
