Peter Woods is a versatile and explosive defensive tackle who has the potential to grow into an impact player against the run and the pass. His blend of size and athleticism should allow Spags to play him all over the defensive front.

Mansoor Delane was a unanimous All-American last year after tallying 13 passes defensed and two picks while allowing just 14 catches (and zero touchdowns!) on 357 coverage snaps. Also committed a grand total of zero penalties last year. LET’S GO!!!

At the time of pick No. 6, there was a 90% chance Mansoor Delane would make it to pick No. 9, per the Draft Day Predictor. Even if that number is a little high, that's the hidden cost of trade-ups: there's a substantial chance the Chiefs gave up a 3 and a 5 for nothing!

I don’t love the pick, but if you are slamming the trade up saying he was gonna be there at 9 just fucking stop. NFL GM’s know better than you how the board is gonna fall. They clearly love Delane & didn’t want to risk it. Pair him w/ Nohl will be nice. Need pass rusher now.

Here’s my perfect scenario for KC tonight: Reese or Bailey drops to 6 and you go up a few spots for him and only need to send back a 6th rounder (on @Jason_OTC chart) but maybe 5th and 6th. At 29 take a WR, I like Concepcion in that range. Need juice and separation ability. What’s yours?
